Edge returned for....a Wrestlemania feud with Randy Orton?
During the Royal Rumble PPV on Sunday night (Jan. 26), Pro Wrestling Sheet reported there had been “tense encounter” backstage between Brock Lesnar and Matt Riddle. Nothing physical, but after years of Riddle tweeting about how he was going to retire Brock, Lesnar apparently decided to take the opportunity to give The Original Bro a piece of his mind. We’ve got a couple new reports on the incident, and it seems more like a one-way communication than the “verbal altercation” Sheet described. “Tense” sounds like the right word, though.According to sources of TalkSPORT’s Alex McCarthy, Lesnar approached Riddle and grabbed his shoulder to get his attention. The former UFC Heavyweight champ then told the former UFC welterweight:Quote“Kid, you might as well stop saying my name and tagging me in shit because you and I will never work together. Ever.”Riddle - no stranger to awkward backstage moments with legends of the business - is said to have tried to respond, but Brock kept moving and didn’t give him a chance to. Fightful says a source described the scene by saying Lesnar’s the “wrong one to f*** with and that Matt “was spoken to by Brock and he understood.”All the sites confirmed the incident didn’t involve any physical violence.Riddle, who was tweeting about retiring Brock as recently as Saturday night, was eliminated in just 41 seconds during the Rumble match. This morning, he tweeted this:https://twitter.com/SuperKingofBros/status/1222180207622336513

WWE has always been able to count on drawing ratings for certain shows, like for episodes of Monday Night Raw coming just one evening after a pay-per-view. This has been true even in the WWE Network era.But that’s slowly changing.Look at this trend (as pointed out by the Wrestling Observer) over the past few years in regards to viewership for the post-Royal Rumble episode of Monday Night Raw:2016: 4.10 million2017: 3.62 million2018: 3.40 million2019: 2.71 million2020: 2.40 millionWWE promoted Charlotte Flair and Drew McIntyre making their decision on who they would challenge for a title at WrestleMania 36 (even if they didn’t follow through on that, in Flair’s case), and it didn’t make much difference at all. They also promoted Edge returning to the show to make clear he’s back and will be wrestling some more. That didn’t make much difference at all.
considering the reactions he's been getting lately, Drew is already the top babyface. not that there's much competition on raw.
Yeah, but will that last? He seems like way more of a natural heel type.

i still don't know who the fuck chelsea green is and they haven't explained it very well
oh wow he actually cracked his own
Then why the hell are they doing one in February? Why didn't they do a normal takeover with the Rumble instead of Worlds Collide, especially as they didn't do anything with the UK talent in either Rumble anyway? Now they're going to have a stopgap show that will surely be quality but then will make the WM show a rehash or have a show with a month and a half of new storylines when this upcoming show has stuff going back to October.
Fastlane got canceled this year.
Nah, there's nothing on the calendar between Elimination Chamber and Mania, at this point it would be hard logistically to put a ppv together on basically a month and a half's notice.
