Fasting today for colonoscopy tomorrow. I don't mind the hospital part since they drug you and you wake up and you're all good, but I fucking suck at fasting the day before. By the end of the day I will be in a REAL bad mood. I needz my foodz :'(

Going to edit my rough draft into a final draft before the hunger fucks my brain up. Then I'll just play something mindless like AC2.

Also where is famitsuuuuuuuuuuu. It should be out by a dozen hours ago, but I'm guessing whoever got the leaked mag saw the FFXIII score and fainted and died and so we have no info

I was reading some thread and it reminded me that in my dream last night I was playing the directors cut of RE5 where they added SEAN as a playable character. He could roll through enemies and throw basketballs to knock back zombies.

I'm just hoping I pass my professional responsibility class. I'll do ~ a 3.0 easy in my other classes, but I didn't read the PR book or pay attention cause the classes were terrible. I basically know nothing about PR and have 1-2 days to learn enough from a cheat book to try to get a 2.something. I need a 0.7 to pass the class, which seems very doable. But I hate the feeling of going into studying for a final when you actually don't know the material. Nerve-wracking >_<

Anyhow aren't you first year? It gets a lot easier and better and a happier place. First semester is the toughest.

Anyone know how to cite a short story in a short story collection book in blue book (legal) form? I googled and searched all the blue book sites but no answer.

I know if it's a book it's:
Author Dude, I am the author dude (2009).

short story or article is:
Author Dude, I am the author dude short story (2009).

But not sure what do to do when it's a short story in a book. On the syllabus for our readings the professor used this form:

Not seeing anything about fiction specifically, but for "shorter works in a collection with various authors" (the heading in the bluebook), its:

Author, Story Title, in Book title page story begins on, page the quote is from (editor, year)

you need the "in" italicized with a comma after the story title. no comma between book title and page # it begins on

rule 15.5.1

I usually highlight the box quote in question and then scale the little gray arrows that are located on the white "ruler" located above the document.

I like how 100% of my final grade is determined by a two hour exam involving two or three questions or fact scenarios on 900 pages of material.
