I'd rather have seen shawn michaels end it or some younger guy so it can elevate him. Brock doesn't need elevating. But whatevs.

Disagree. I like the way it is.

I think they have told a great story here. Each new WM match had Taker getting slower and slower and weaker. Bork beating Taker is damn believable especially with Taker's output during tbat match.

Something I've noticed in this PPV is that anyone with an elabortate entrance (theatrics or live music) has lost, Taker included. Orton's entrance was played live...so I guess he's losing!

Yeah. Can't believe I'm saying it, but I agree- dunno what the hell happened but they've produced a quality PPV that is one of the best Manias ever. As much as I hope that this momentum continues from this point forward, however, I expect things to drop back down to shit levels by next week.

Apparently HHH and Steph are directing this entire event. This is their first time directing an entire PPV. Vince has little if any to do with this PPV. As we saw with NXT ppvs, HHH knows what the fuck he is doing.

Bryan being injured was an obvious work, but it did look like Orton fucked up his back from the monitor. Batista just stood around for a few minutes so clearly something was off. It seemed like Orton gave him a signal to continue.

Fantastic show from top to bottom:

Every match had a great storyline around it, and each story had a sense of closure.
Fantastic match quality and variety in match types.
Fun ass battle royal that shows off the whole roster.
Fun ass swerve that builds up Brock Lesnar as the new threat.
Great hints of John Cena heel turn, which is the closest we will ever get.
Fantastic ending.

Just AAA across the board. Even with a decent Diva's match.

Also, thinking about it, Brock beating Taker is a GREAT idea that will lead to building up future stars. No one on the roster is CURRENTLY on Taker's league except for Cena, Kane, and Brock.

Cesaro, Reigns, Rollins, Bryan, Big E;etc. have a bright future but it isn't believable if they could be Taker this year in 2014.

But let's fast forward a year.

Next expect one of the fresh young guys I just listed take on Brock Lesnar, THE MAN WHO DEFEATED THE UNDERTAKER. By defeating the Undertaker, it automatically gives Brock a sense of prestige, and enough time to build up their new stars to make them believable.

Prediction: Roman Reigns vs Brock Lesnar at Wrestlemania 31. Beast vs Beast. The new beast vs the man who defeated the Undertaker.

It sells itself.
