that ppv was pretty shit. cody sucks, jericho and mox put on the same match jericho has been doing for a while, the women botched everything they tried, kenny and bucks put on yet another "sell nothing 5000 kickouts" match, nothing else was worth even mentioning. somehow the best match was pockets vs pac.

Like, I get that not everyone likes the same shit, and also that since I grew up on old NWA/early era WCW southern "wrasslin" I'm predisposed to like a certain slice of shit, but I will never get the appeal of the finisher spam shit where everyone just tries to murder each other with no sense of anything that happened 5 minutes ago mattering in the slightest. The closest I can get is appreciating Keith Lee/Dijak, but they're basically human cartoon characters and the Bucks/Omega etc are basically "normal dudes" and it looks fucking stupid. Also, Adam Cole needs to be strapped into a chair and forced to listen to Corny podcasts for a week, see if any of it sticks.

My deepest secret is sometimes I really enjoy stupid spot fests and cool moves and Page/Omega have a lot of really cool combo sequences.

I do like Omega a good bit of the time, but I am legitimately Corny about the Bucks. It seems like they only care about how much bullshit they can string together and if only one spot out of four looks good, it’s okay because the next one is coming up fast.

I'm with Stro on the PPV. Except I am stupid and like spotfests 100 percents of the time. The thing he said about the tag match is basically my thoughts as well. Good bits of storytelling, mixed with crazy moves. Even if sometimes they kinda missed the mark (meltzer driver outside the ring where the flying buck barely made it.)

I also liked the sammy darby match, and OC v Pac was equal parts funny and holy shit to me. The OC can go gimmick hasn't worn off of me yet. his ddts and that superman punch look crazy.

I know I'm not saying anything anyone hasn't before, but golddust v jake hagar was such shit though. it was making me regret slapping down that 30aud for the ppv. cody v mjf was also shitty but idk that it was as bad as people have been saying- I think the cringe tattoo and intro sunk the match. It had it's moments (gf got a kick out of the brandi arn interference spot) but I didn't get the finish at all. MJF eats two crossrhodes and then jumps up and one punch mans cody? come on.

and jericho and mox was just a downer ending. sloppy ass paradigm shift.

with as much as the announcers said that ricochet was a hero for getting in the ring post-brock match and how he was surely injured and hurting and it was amazing he could even stand, my guess is he'll be mostly unaffected and they just wanted riddick moss to get a win over someone people knew.
