I finished watching the first episode of the Wild 7 OVA tonight. This show's awesome, it's basically a mash up of Inglorious Basterds and 70's-80's vigilante cop movies in anime form. A nice palette cleanser, if you will.

I still don't approve of Anime and think ya'll will burn in hell, but I just stumbled on this track from Gundam Seed which I used to adore, and wanted to share it with someone.

Years and years ago, during my uguu~ phase, I had a section of this track as a ringtone for an entire semester. My then 4 year old baby sister liked it so much that she started singing it, obviously in gibberish. Half of my family thought it was cute, recorded her singing it, then started using it as their ringtones for a few months. Ahhh, would someone turn back time already?

Gundam Seed was pretty good. Sure it was very angsty, but I enjoyed it. They did get it right with the insert songs though. I can't say I would listen to that song outside of Seed, but they sure chose to play it at some pretty great parts.

Exactly. Although I wasn't a big fan of SEED when all was said and done, but I thought the way they used the song the first time was brilliant.

I found a torrent with the whole thing in dubbed format, so I watched part of the first episode yesterday. And yeah, it is absolutely insane in every way imaginable, like someone took the idea of Dirty Harry to the furthest possible extreme and then filtered it through a culture that had no familiarity with what they're dealing with. It would be offensive if it weren't so ridiculous, which almost certainly has to be intentional.

I'm just looking forward to OAVs/Movies at this point. Can't wait for Gothicmade, Eva 3.33. Looking forward to Gundam Unicorn 6, and Geass OAV.
