There was a thread that said "post the website names" or something.  so some people went in and posted evilbore.com

I had just bought mupepe.com so I had it redirect to evilbore.com and everyone went in there and posted mupepe.com

You forgot the part where one of you registered evilore.com, and bragged about it here.  I don't know how you idiots didn't expect evilore to find out when you posted links to this forum on GAF, and the first thread anyone would see is this one, bitching about GAF, which is where you were talking about registering evilore.com.

That's why there's a zero tolerance, instant permaban policy on evilbore shit now.

Evilbore got banned because when it first started, certain people (SHAKE), spammed the forum with evilbore links.  Evilore at that point didn't even bother to go to the site.  He figured it was just something making fun of him.  Later that day I'm sure someone told him it was a forum, though, and he figured it was just another OA, which is basically what it is.  So it got the OA treatment.

And then EB people have tried on several times to solicit gaf more, something that OA doesn't even try to do anymore.  That in a nutshell is why its on the shitlist. 

I permabanned shake the first chance I got though :p Everyone else I've just given temp bans to.

That would be easy to do if the avatar were hosted on GAF webspace, but all avatars on GAF are hosted externally, and doing such checks (and they'd have to be done repeatedly in case a person swapped their compliant av for a big one) would require waaaaaay too much server overhead.  Like, enough overhead to bury both the current servers.
