Ive already got 60 hours in Diablo 3- already got my moneys worth- love the game. I've also avoided the AH almost entirely- half of the fun is not knowing what you'll get to work with.

I was always interested since BugBear are gods. But I had a feeling this was going to happen, so I've saved myself $30+. That is if I decide to get it, still happy with Diablo 3.

1. Restart Steam and try it again
2. Restart Windows and try it again

One of those is pretty much certain to fix your problem.

Uuuh no its not. Doesnt fix shit. You know, I'm not a distinguished mentally-challenged fellow when it comes to PC's.

http://forums.eidosgames.com/showthread.php?t=119694

Even Eidos reps don't know why it doesnt work.

Is it a steam error? a windows error?

Its a game error.

Fucking hell I already spent an hour trying to fix their shit. Fuck this. Another steam mispurchase. I even stayed up way too late cause I wanted to play this. UGH.

ah. ok then it's something between the game and your pc. that sucks. but then again, that's PC gaming. you take the good with the bad.

I did find this: http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1765416

for Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light. Which is another Eidos game. so it's probably something up with their shit. you really can't blame Steam for it but whatevs.

Ofc you can blame the store where you buy faulty goods.

I don't have any more users and tried all solutions already, this is lame, this game isn't even new this shit should work or it should come with a warning.

that's not really a good comparison but either way, you wouldn't blame a store for selling a product that ended up defective since it was never their product and had no way of knowing it would be defective in the first place.

Well if they stock something they should know its faults and warn users about them before purchase, that or refund, not these long copy pasta tech support BS emails that amount to nothing. Just give me a refund.

the fault isn't inherent to the product. especially not this product since the issue is very obscure. i understand you're angry because something you bought doesnt work but blaming steam is faulty logic. they didn't make the game. the error has nothing to do with steam. there's no way steam is going to add a warning to the product because a very minute % of users may possibly have this issue.

now them not giving you a refund? I get being mad about that.

I own everything already but that's an amazing deal.  I think it's the cheapest Missing Link has been.  If you like HR, Missing Link is very much worth it.
