It's down from B/W (2.4 mil) and D/P (1.75 mil) but it's still certainly nothing to snuff at.

Although, this might just be the NPD not combining versions hence it not making the list.

Wouldn suprise me if sony is going to get some 3rd party exclusives like in the ps2 days by sheer virtue of the lead they have.

It worked out of the box.

I bought every COD between MW2 to BO2 and was a big fan. But BF4 multiplayer slaughters them all. I haven't played Ghosts, but it looks like more of the same. They both cost $60. Content wise, Ghosts is a slice of pizza where BF4 is a whole pizza. Graphics wise, it's not even fair to compare the 2. Activision was so outclassed it's embarrassing.

On the upside, it was a Nintendo free Christmas. No Mario 3D World, no Pokemon, nothing on the Top 10. Nintendo used to dominate the holidays and now it is nowhere to be found.

IIRC

the overall list they are touting is based on next gen game SKUs only.

and the positions are coming from the platform placement in the game title (the first platform listed was the best selling, etc)
