Lucifer looks like they didn't keep the right stuff from the comic.

Minority Report looks like some money was spent on it, and may be decent, but I'd rather have more Almost Human instead.

Supergirl needs to be pre-canceled.

Same. It's hard to make definitive statements based on a few lines of dialogue and a mish mash of scenes but overall things look kind of bland. We'll see. I'm fine with there being no supernatural slant this year but I hope there's something else that separates this from most detective shows.

Wicked City follows a unique case set in a noteworthy era of L.A. history, starting with a murder case from 1982 centered on the rock 'n' roll, cocaine-infused revelry of the Sunset Strip. The first season focuses on two LAPD detectives as they search for a pair of romantically-linked serial killers (reminiscent of Bonnie and Clyde) terrorizing the Sunset Strip.

Watching Daredevil on Netflix, on the second to last episode. I love it and for some reason I like watching it with the audio description option that's for blind people, gives it a certain drama. Pretty excited their next three marvel shows.

With the breadth of content and the fact that their original shows are decent to great, HBO/AMC/FX will probably start to make their shows available to stream instantly for people without a cable subscription and who don't want to buy episodes a la carte. All their biggest shows will end within a few years, and it's going to be hard to retain subscribers when you have Hulu+ and Netflix for like $10/month (and shared on multiple screens). Hopefully this doesn't mean we need 5 different apps/subs in 5 years.

I decided to watch only the last episode of sense8 and call it a day.  It was pretty fun, with some nice Wachowski flourishes that were reminiscent of the original Matrix.  The low budget gave it a CW feel at times but the better than average acting and direction elevated it a bit.  Also there was a full-on live birth scene within the first five minutes that I'm pretty sure wouldn't make it on the CW.  Pretty sure.

Halt & Catch Fire s2 premiere was very good but its still not interesting enough for the gen pop to bother with it.

also now that i'm well into Spartacus i can do my rankings of the chicks
1. Mira
2. Melitta
3. Illythia
4. Naevia 1
5. Saxa (she kinda reminds me of Calisto from Xena Warrior Princess)

Liam's Spartacus is pretty solid. What he lacks in outright swag he makes up for by having a more leader-like presence than Andy.

binged thru the first season of Hannibal (s1&2 are on Norwegian netflix)

at first I wasn't real big on the "ON THE SPECTRUM" detective and all the time spent away from Hannibal's study, kitchen and dining room, but by the end of it I wasn't so bothered by the police stuff. Maybe because the monster of the week cases were fun (the pillar being an obvious highlight).

Interested to see where it goes in season 2.

Sense8 episode 6

The big group orgy scene was beautiful in a super gratuitous way. Wolfgang was just chillin' like a boss while shit was going down around him. Dude didn't even get hard.

Is Hannibal good?
Is it on Netflix or Hulu or some shit I can catch it on? My girlfriend's all about those detective/mystery killer shows and shit. Girl was stuck on The Following.. WOAT WOAT WOAT of a show that not even Kevin Bacon's footloose dancing ass could save. Fuck that show, glad it got canceled.
I has some of the best cinematography of any TV show; I know that's like trying to award a Nobel Peace Prize when only allowed to choose from genocidal candidates, but it's really gorgeous.

The food is stunning as well, consistently. Not just the schadenfreude inducing meat dishes. There was a scene of Hannibal preparing coffee, and I was sad that I could not enjoy brew in the glorious fashion which had been displayed.

Turn on Closed Captions, and you won't miss any of Mads' glorious dialog.

I have no problem understanding Mikkelsen, but then again I am accustomed to Danes speaking English in order to be understood.

I found this out a couple of days ago but there are a lot of HBO shows that are free to stream if you're an Amazon Prime member.

So I'm watching Deadwood for the first time :aah
