Well, less and healthier eating and almost no snacking in between, cycling, then when I lost some weight a little (not good for your bones to run when you're too fat) I started running to take off the rest. Now I still run every day and I eat what I want (within reasonable boundaries of course, but I still eat a lot of chocolate).

I run around 6-8km a day (4-5 miles I think) and every Saturday a long one as I'm trying to train for half a marathon, which I should be ready for in november. Last Saturday I did 16km (around 10 miles). Since I started that half a marathon program a month ago in september I've been steadily loosing weight again.

It took a few tries, but the successful start was when I was talking with my brother about my stubbornness and principles and he asked me that if I had such strong principles and was so stubborn why I'm 'that' fat. Didn't know what to say (cause he was right) and the next day I started.

Hardest is to get the 'train' going so to speak. First months were excruciating as I also came close to falling in the other extreme, but I corrected that. First time I ran I was out for a few hours, couldn't stand up...now it's just part of daily routine and I feel 'guilty' when I don't do it (over time the mental wall to not run gets higher and higher). Now I'm just trying to set goals so I don't stagnate.
