Man, what happened to that "Augmented Reality" shit they hyped out a year or two back. Oh Sony :fbm

What do you mean? Like Eyedentify or whatever?

They showed a bunch of stuff that involved rendered stuff being superimposed over actual physical environments and interacting with it. Not sure if any of that came to fruition, that or it didn't make that big an impact.

A lot of that tech was implemented in the EyePet game.

my favorite thing about eyepet is that it was released in Europe and only required a tiny paper card to play, and for America they're all fuck that, buy this $50 controller to blow hot air on your monkey dog

fwiw Kinect is a better value if you have nothing

Well if you have nothing then the black Wii with Wii Sports and Wii Sports Resort is the best value.

It's not good value, it's still a Wii

Yeah, I think I will go back to the playstation. I don't enjoy a lot of what the xbox has to offer outside USA. Halo, gears and fable? I don't play any of them. No netflix or espn, don't use zune, twitter and facebook are useless. Gran Turismo, God of War, Metal Gear Solid, Uncharted, Heavy Rain are games that I enjoy.

haha, you enjoyed heavy rain :lol

Sly Cooper Collection though, which is 1000x better than any Ico collection.

Sly Cooper....zzzzzz

I'd rather have a Jax and Daxter Collection than that.

Sly Collection is salt on the wound because Sucker Punch is stuck making shorty infamous 2 instead of Sly 4.

Yeah, fuck the Sly collection nonsense.

I played three in 3D! I saw the wink at the end! You owe me closure!

After Infamous 2 (hopefully  :lol)

I didn't have a problem with the Infamous 2 redesign until I saw the in-game model

it's so bad.  he just looks weird now instead of an ugly grumpy asshole.

I'm fine with the redesign if it looked like the art in game informer, but the in-game model is bad.  you can fit his face inside of his neck.

I see your point, but eh... a character's face never stopped me from enjoying a game.

Reading thread

lmao @ Triple A gloating at the $50 price, then completely abandoning the thread when he realized it's really $120 and up

Even if Kinect is $150, at least you have 4 people ready to play with no extra expense. But if either of these guys were serious about this they'd bundle in their motion shit with new consoles at $299

I am reading this as it goes, I didn't know any of this before. I went into E3 saying I'd rather have Move than Natal and I'd get it if it was $80. So I saw $50, and I was like whoa sold. Then I saw $100 for the bundle and I was like ok, I'll probably still get that. Then I saw it's really $130 because the bundle somehow doesn't include all the necessary stuff. So I was like no way. Then I saw that some games may need two dildos and that puts it up to $180 and I was like lol. Then I saw that if you want to play with two people and they both need full controllers then that is $210 and now $150 for Kinect doesn't seem so distinguished mentally-challenged. At least with Kinect, even if the game side flops I still have an extremely nifty dashboard controller.

It has the Razing Storm game, plus the arcade version of Time Crisis 4 (without the FPS mode from the PS3 one), and some arcade light gun game. it has Guncon 3 support too! finally I have something else to use that with.  I don't even need to buy move.

That's the only reason I want Kinect. So I can just lazily yell at my Xbox to pause a movie.

While you're 'lazily' standing up  :lol

Twisted Metal actually looks really fun.  I like how everything seems like it has an interior and it all can be wrecked.
