i really don't think it's close to over yet. a lot of the fairweather support - like all these daytime peaceful protests - will dry up, but you'll still see a lot more of the hardcore activists continuing to do protests that will inevitably get attacked by cops. the media will pull off it once trump does something stupid enough again, but cops will continue to hurt and murder innocent people so there'll still be plenty of reason to take to the streets. it's also good that there's still a lot of pushback on this token bullshit like what the democrats are offering. people know that won't change anything.

This is just a false claim that is easily refuted, since the notion of a shared German identity can be traced back to Medieval times. Martin Luther was called the modern day Arminius in contemporary works, proving that Tacitus‘ Germania made a lasting impact that has endured over the centuries.
