Decided to finally watch Rupauls Drag Race. Only goes as far back as season 2 on Hulu but I finished that season in about a week. Awesome show, I initially thought Tyra was too bitchy to make it but I was cheering for her in the end even though I thought Raven was more deserving.

So it's a good show? I don't like reality shows but I enjoyed a couple seasons of the model show Tyra Banks did, my brothers and I would have a blast choosing a favorite and cheering until the end. Also we used to watch Hell's Kitchen.

Recent rumors have stated series creator Nic Pizzolatto was seeking a female-driven cast for Season 2 of the hit HBO series, and now today, Nerdist has learned exclusively one of the names that may be on the bill in 2015: Jessica Chastain.

According to sources, the Zero Dark Thirty actress has been offered a leading role in the second season but has yet to accept. As for official confirmation, we reached out to representatives for Chastain, who have declined to comment at this time.

Just started s1 of Black Mirror. "Be Right Back" - I really enjoyed the subtle way they introduced technology; still, what a sad story. I'd only just seen the lead actor, Domhnall Gleeson, in the movie About Time. Wikipedia says he's been in a bunch of other stuff I've seen and liked, but I never noticed him. I wonder if the storyline is a subtle dig at gingers being "soulless"?

It's a really clever show. At face value, and for the first few episodes, it's just a sketch comedy show about a nerd guy doing and reviewing dangerous and immoral things. As you go though the episodes the show starts building a really dark show-within-a-show narrative of how this Review program is slowly destroying his life and lives of everyone around him. Andy Daly is so funny that it manages to keep you laughing despite how utterly bleak it gets at points. The finale has a super satisfying ending and puts a nice bow on things, so if it (likely) doesn't get renewed it's sill a very satisfying conclusion.

Anyway, people should check it out. Comedy Central is killing it these days.

They shot the entire episode like a Caravaggio painting.
Admittedly, it was super indulgent -- moreso than Hannibal usually is with its shots -- but I don't give a fuck. I watch Hannibal to revel in the ridiculous artistry of every shot and every ounce of cinematography. The scene with

Fee is such a great gay character. Sure, he's stereotypical to the nth degree, but it's not the entirety of his character and he's got a big heart. He's a great example of treading the line between "progressive gay character" and "Sex in the City gay character."

Been catching up on Louie.

I've always been mixed on the show. I think the highs are sometimes very high, but the lows are a sort of a meandering artsiness that I feel Woody Allen pretty much explored in a better manner decades ago.

That aside I think this season has been very enjoyable so far. More so for me than the last season which felt a bit too inside hollywood for me to relate to. "So did the fat lady" for example was a great episode that really nails a concept in a profound way that nearly all television avoids. And it really hit home for me on a personal level. Just wanted to mention that and single out that particular episode as being one of the better individual episodes of something I've seen on television in the last few years.

Yup. As I said earlier, it was a stunning episode and actually made me feel guilty.

So far this season has definitely been great, better than last season. I actually liked last season a lot although I didn't really enjoy the Late Night arc. The thing I like about Louie is that there's an amazing mixture of comedy episodes with more serious, poignant ones. Perhaps my favorite of these episodes is the one last season where he went to Miami. For some reason that just struck a chord with me
