Also, don't be foold by a PC demo with a One controller. There just aren't official drivers for the DualShock 4 so it's just easier to roll with a One for maximum on-the-road compatibility.

AFAIK, there's mixed reports on whether the PS4 loses money per system sold, with Kaz saying its already profitable, while Xbone loses a lot more (not even counting sunk costs into advertising and the like). WiiU was selling at a loss for a long time as well, but has stopped since a few months ago due to finally needing to make more units than all the ones they've got sitting in warehouses.

WiiU was selling at a loss for a long time as well, but has stopped since a few months ago due to finally needing to make more units than all the ones they've got sitting in warehouses.

Most of that's assumed out of the Quarterly financial statements. PS4 only seems to be making a razor thin contribution around $40 mill per quarter so it's not the profitable beast Kaz was trying to push to the investors (That also needed Mobile and TV hardware sales to back it up. Those two are taking turns in tanking. Especially since the Xperia Z2 got murdered in cold blood by the HTC M8). Nintendo seems to drop $100 million in the black or red depending on a new Pokemon or a big release but the Wii-U ain't helping. Microsoft's harder to tell because 360 software is still going and they ended up dropping something ludicrous like $890m in the black last FY despite Xbone launch eating $400m of their revenue. Most likely because 360 software sales are still an absolute gold mine. No one's that prepared to move yet

This is just Sony's mobile tie-in crap again. It's not the actual game you can get on PSN, but some micro spinoff. I don't know why they gave it the same name and made it paid.

I expect that to be Sony's portable strategy going forward. Just PS Now and cheapo tie-in games.
