Speaking for myself, Last of Us, GTA5 and Ground Zeroes (then again, I didn't play the former 2 last gen so they are new to me)... probably gonna pick up Guilty Gear soon as well... but for the most part the system is collecting dust until Type-0 and Bloodborne. And eventually Ys, SF5, Persona 5, FF15, and all the inevitable uguu games.

I'm sure no small portion of that number were sold during sales, but that's still pretty impressive. Definitely bodes well for Japanese games continuing to be released on Steam.

Ys Origin is PC-exclusive. It's never been ported to anything, which I'm sure has helped it sell more on Steam than Felghana and 1+2.

I meant felghana psp. If Ys origin has sold that well, I don't think felghana would too far off.

Don't think Banished has been in a bundle.

It has been $6 a few times though, so I'm sure a large chunk of sales came from that.

Speaking of building games, Cities Skylines is going to do gangbusters.  It's the #1 game on Steam right now, beating GTA 5 and Xenoverse.

Looks like Ubisoft bet well at the THQ Fire Sale. Even with the extra time.

While also managing to piss off Parker and Stone by trying to cut content as DLC who promptly told em' to fuck off. When inevitable sequel talk was brought up, they told em' to fuck off again (Then made an entire season of South Park comprised of mostly whining about the gaming industry).

Ubisoft. When will they ever learn?

Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate sold more than 290,000 combined physical and digital units and is now the fastest-selling Monster Hunter title – across all platforms – in U.S. history. In addition, the game has the highest Metascore of any Monster Hunter title and is also Capcom’s fastest-selling title on the Nintendo 3DS platform in U.S. history.

Pretty sure The Order died as soon as that youtube video with the playthrough went up and it spread far and wide ridiculously quickly, never mind the reviews. I'd imagine Sony has a presidential-level security detail waiting with DMCA boilerplate letters watching twitch and youtube like a hawk for Bloodborne as any slip up with that and 4chan will be all over it like a rash (Not my scene but it does look good)

Paradox is already having one of their most successful years ever thanks to Cities: Skylines and Pillars of Eternity:

Paradox Interactive has announced that Obsidian’s Pillars of Eternity and Colossal Order’s Cities: Skylines have collectively generated $18.5 million in revenue within the past three weeks. Earlier, it was Cities: Skylines that held the honour of being Paradox’s fastest selling game but Pillars of Eternity very nearly topped it.

Paradox CEO Fredrik Wester stated that, “It’s great fun. Hadn’t Cities: Skylines already broken all our records, then Pillars of Eternity certainly would have. One can certainly say this has been a crazy March. For us the deal with Obsidian is about a long-term commitment. It’s a prestigious assignment with a studio we’ve long wanted to work with.

“And I think we’ve shown that we’ve coped with the task well. I do profit off of this, but it obviously isn’t anywhere near the earnings we’ve gotten from Cities: Skylines. On the other hand, profit was never the main point: this shows that we have the competence to publish really big game titles in the genres we work with.”

You can find the sales figures for every Steam game, including regional breakdowns.  There is a large variance for some games, but the numbers seem reasonably accurate.

What do you know: Giving people "SimCity that isn't SimCity" works!
