My big problem with Flowers of Evil, visually, is that while the rotoscoping is great, the background detail is always greater. The less detailed, sometimes flat characters, look like they don't belong in a world with backgrounds crafted like this:

Well it's an odd bird, it sits in the romance/slice of life genre for sure, but there has been no romance except some boy x boy lust and the slice of life they choose to portray are a bunch of abnormal situations. The easy setup for romance is in there for sure, but I get the impression they are putting it there to mislead. This will probably end in a weird way like school rumble, the title of the anime at least indicates a deviation from the norm.

The anime hasnt really explored Nakamura's motivations for doing what she is yet, apart from her wanting the world to burn with deviancy.

The Devil is a Part-Timer is great. I watched all 5 episodes this weekend which is nice because the first minor arc wrapped up. The characters are great and there isn't a single nose bleed or panty shot in sight

The last episode ended on such a great punch too. Biggest surprise for me in awhile

One of the recommended shows on hulu's Devil is a Part-Timer page was Nyan-Koi which is a show about a guy who is allergic to and can talk to cats. I watched a few episodes and its amusing. Cats are cute, what can I say
