Roberta's Blood Trail is the most accurate title ever.

I can't wait until they show the episode with the creepy twins. I wonder how Toonami is going to edit that

They're said repeatedly they'll barely edit shows, only the f-bomb getting bleeped and genitals/tittays getting blurred/cut.

They let DMW Hummingbird on the air after all.

finished watching all of the space dandy episode's of season 1, i didn't like the last episode much because

1) space dandy it's at his best when it's goofy and funny and comedic and i don't know how these "SERIOUS EPISODE" keep sneaking in
2) QT is the most boring character of the show

know what should have been the last episode? a dr.gel episode, the guy only appear like 5 minute every episode and i hate hate hate it, he deserves much more screen time, best episode were

spoiler (click to show/hide)
the zombie one for poking fun at zombie's, the space flea one for making a dog death funny, the plant episode for being the most artisticaly fucked up episode, the chameleon episode for just being plain good funny and lastly the race episode... the race episode is the best space dandy episode

look at his peacefull and serene expressions :heart

Kinda anime related but a Jojo's Bizarre Adventure:All Star Battle demo is on PSN.

I was totally surprised at how much I enjoyed Haikyuu!!. I never read the manga because I didn't care for how the characters looked but they look great in motion. Captain Earth was aight,Mahouka was aight,Jojo was good.

I notice none of you have brought up Samurai Flamenco since it ended. I stopped around 15/16 and I haven't caught up yet but I read about it's :himu ending

Yeah I'm aware. I don't have a Crunchyroll sub though. I did use a free one to watch most of Fate Zero and then torrented the rest. Same with Kill la Kill basically. I wouldn't mind watching Fate Zero in English though, though I guess thats now on Hulu.

It's just easier for me if things are on Netflix because then it's in HD and with no commercials. I wish they would step up with the anime.

Not for simulcasting, though, which makes no sense. Apparently, they're just going to wait until the show finishes airing and then dump it all at once. WHY?

I'm with you, but Netlifx thinks people like to binge shows, and they're right based on their past non-anime experiences.

I guess some Australian company was going to stream the show, but Netflix basically nixed that. Argh.

Might as well post my thoughts on some of the new shows.

Jojo's Bizzare Adventure Stardust Crusaders: Continuing the awesome manga adaption from the previous season.  Not much to say here...it's great and I have nothing to complain about.

Akuma No Riddle: Weird premise in which a bunch of highly deadly female assassins -who are naturally all high school students, because Japan- all get grouped in the same class, with the goal of killing the one girl among them who is not an assassin.  It's pretty obvious who that girl is (she's one of the two main characters), yet they all seem to act oblivious initially.  Only watched one episode of this, which sets everything up.  The plot is going to revolve around the other main character deciding not to kill the girl and protect her from the others instead.  The biggest problem I have with this show is that the main assassin girl is one of those 'cold' types who displays no emotion, or any real personality, for that matter, and doesn't speak much.  I find this type of character incredibly boring.

Blade and Soul: Looked like it was going to be more Queen's Blade, but is actually a bit less fan-servicey (although it's still filled with scantily-clad females and huge, bouncing breasts, of course!) and actually has a story.  The main character is similar to the girl in Akuma No Riddle in that she is cold, displays zero emotion, and rarely talks.  One of the other characters even calls her out on this, so the show is at least self-aware and there may even be a reason why the character acts this way, but it still comes off as boring and makes for a character that I have no sympathy for.  Awesome ending theme, BTW.

Captain Earth: Mecha show that seems to be trying to be something like Evangelion.  Not sure about this one yet.

Fuuun Ishin Dai Shogun: Has some of the worst animation (or rather, completely lacks in animation) I've ever seen.   Starts off as "tough guy takes over town by beating the shit out of all rivals in alternate-reality Japan," turns into "tough guy is also virgin and pervert who lusts for and peeps on women,"  but has to stay a virgin to pilot...a mecha....because Japan.

Hitsugi no Chaika: Watched one episode.  It's a fantasy-adventure show about a brother-sister duo helping a loli mage, who carries a magical sniper rifle in a giant coffin and is looking for body parts, Castlevania II-style.  Might be fun; too early to tell.

Mekaku City Actors: About a shut-in, living with a virtual girl on his PC, who goes outside after two years and gets caught in the middle of a terrorist plot by masked men who demand a ransom for him and all the other customers in the shop they're in.  Cool visual style and a plot that's hard to follow.

Ryuugajou Nanana no Maizoukin: Nanana is a happy-go-lucky girl who likes adventure and treasure-hunting!  Also, she's FUCKING DEAD and her ghost haunts a dorm room that the protagonist inhabits.  So it's ghost-harem comedy stuff or something.

Mangaka-san to Assistant-san: Yay, another harem-style show about a pervert surrounded by girls, wanting to do perverted shit and getting rejected for it.  ZZzzzz.

Kindaichi Shounen no Jikenbo Returns: Classic murder mystery high-school detective hijinx.

Gochuumon wa Usagi Desuka?: Not sure why I watched this, but my wife and I sat through it and felt kind of...relaxed and pleasant afterwards.  For some reason I kept thinking that the people who made this were really high.

i've started reading berserk, i really shouldn't considering the most annoying part about reading manga and/or watching anime is how 80% of the time they don't have an ending and they keep dragging them on and on and on and on

and i know berserk is pretty bad in regards of that as it's been on hiatus forever, but well i was kind of sick of picking stuff to read at random and this is pretty good anyway!

though i have to ask... is there anybody in this manga that doesn't get raped at some point?
