I'm really impressed with Thunderbolt Fantasy. The fights are fantastic and the story is simple yet engaging. The names are hard to remember, though.

For the longest, Vapewizard was the most suspicious character, even after we got a serial killer and an actual demon. Then it turns out that we've been gathering up a squad of bad guys so they can steal this fabled sword from another bad guy and they all betray the main character and the sheltered girl. Vapewizard is basically Lupin

Well, Berserk 2016 totally blew the final episode. Pretty annoyed since I was really looking forward to this event being animated. S2 in 2017, who knows what they will cover. Hope they improve certain things by next year.

Also hope Berserk Musou does a better job of the end of this arc.

GUNDAM is back on. Ep1 of Iron-Blood Orphans S2 was alright. Kudelia's re-design is much better although there's this weird lack of consistency because there are SO MANY CHARACTERS that some look older post timeskip, yet others like Mika look exactly the same. Man, buncha new characters. I don't know, I mean S1 while solid, not much happened in the 25 eps. I really don't know if they can pull off a full epic political space war drama with these billion characters satisfyingly in 25eps based on the first season. Hope they do, but gonna be tough!

So the insane premise here is that girls get on top of floating platforms and try to knock each other into the pool...using only their chests and asses. And this is a top national pro sport.

I LOL'd hard on this one- because it totally takes itself completely serious and has long, drawn out sports-battles. Good animation/detail (lawl) too. The tits and ass essentially become fists and they do all kinds of special moves to each other. This is what made me crack the hell up laughing. It's also not as perverted as you might think. I mean, don't get me wrong-- it's TITS AND ASSES FLYING IN YOUR FACE, but the focus is on fighting so it's just over the top insanity.

Watch this for a good laugh at the absurdity of it all.

Finally got around to watching the Little Witch Academia 2 movie I got through kickstarter. Was just ok. I think 50 mins was kind of stretching it, so while the first one was a fun like 30 min short this was a bit dull for the first half. The second half with the parade had a lot of nice animation and was enjoyable but never really felt exciting and lacked momentum. The original was very ghibli-esque, whereas this one doesn't feel that it captures that right note. It was still fine, and I think kids would really like it, but it didn't do much for me /shrug. Otoh the making of feature was kind of neat on the BD.

I would be worried about where they would go with this though because they did a time skip, I bet it will go all romantic drama. Their definitely was romantic motivations to some of the characters but the series handled it with there is no time for this shit mentality.

Finished watching both seasons. I enjoyed them both although Season 2 slows down a great deal and ends in such a way where it seems like there may be no more episodes which would be unfortunate.
