If that test with ~10k people turns out successful I suspect more countries will fast track this for use in specific conditions (healthcare workers, high risk groups etc.).

If they had used the word "preventable" instead it would be much more elucidating. A poll like that also begs the question exactly how many people's deaths were "acceptable" before the number became "unacceptable".

I don't know, 43% of Republicans admitting that shit's fucked and blame the current administration seems really high to me. And it's a self identification poll, so we're talking about the tried and true people who still identify as republican over 4 year of Trump.

You shouldn't be surprised. Our health care system looks like Thunderdome and we shrug off mass shootings, familicides and toddlers shooting other toddlers every day like it's a normal part of a society.
