Just keep in mind the 1st semester is the hardest since you're getting used to the whole law school thing. 2nd semester is still a bitch but it gets a lot easier from year 2 on.

Sitting in "Information Literacy," a mandatory class they make us all take because "IT'S JAPAN! EVERYONE SHOULD KNOW HOW TO DO THIS SHIT!" I JUST FOUND OUT SOME AWESOME SHIT BUT I DON'T WANT TO BE OBNOXIOUS ABOUT IT YET ON FACEBOOK, SO HERE:

My last final is on January 29, and on that night Shinichi Osawa and Ken Ishii are both playing. At fai, one of the coolest clubs in Tokyo. It's more of a lounge so it's not as much of a "holyfuckwhathefuckisgoingon" situation. It's also within walking distance (30 minutes or so) of my apartment, so I can stagger home at my will. Shinichi Osawa is my favorite DJ / electro producer EVAR right now, and Ken Ishii is super awesome. I'm pumped.

The night of January 30, Ken Ishii and some British dude are playing at Ageha, which is another one of my favorite clubs. And I have an invitation and mad free drink tickets. Victory.

Finals will be over and I will officially be on break for 2 months.

Don't be too sure about that "I'll just dump this useless knowledge after the test" stuff. In college the "Bookmaking in the Digital Age" class I took required us to learn markup language. In 1989 I was thinking who the fuck will ever need a markup language? I'll just use Pagemaker or Quark for layout. Then, um, The Internet happened. For a short period of time, I was actually paid for hand coding markup language.
