Yeah, the Bryan/Kane feud has been awful. Even if you ignore all of the cartoony nonsense that's going on with the story, they're still making Bryan look bad. Why should the babyface world champion run from anybody, let alone the 47 year old Kane? At the end of the ADR match, Kane's music hits and Bryan runs for his life... then when he finally disposes of Kane in the parking lot, Bryan runs for his life again. I don't think they're going to go full distinguished mentally-challenged fellow and book him like Rey Mysterio, but they're off to a very bad start.
Out of the three PPVs last weekened, I liked Dragon Gate: Dead or Alive the most. All four title matches were great, and the 6-man cage match in the main event was incredibly wacky (in a good way). Great show, though DG's style can wear me out after a while (everyone is fast and flippy). NJPW's PPV was decent too, but the only great matches were Tomoaki Honma vs. Tomohiro Ishii (best match of the weekend imo; Ishii is just awesome) and AJ Styles vs. Kazuchika Okada. The only problem with the AJ/Okada match was the bad crowd, but it's not entirely their fault. AJ was thrown into the main event before the Japanese fans could get used to his moveset, so they weren't reacting to some of the things they were doing like they should have imo. At least the crowd should be better for their rematch at the Yokohama PPV.
Evolution vs. The Shield was really great as well. The only thing I didn't like about it was how Batista and Roman just laid in the ring until everybody else finished doing their thing, then they spring back to life and go to the finish. Kinda silly, but whatever.
