I'm not going to get into a pissing contest, but Staples is like being stationed in World War II at a heated military based in Alaska, whereas Target is like being thrust into Iwo Jima. Retail sucks, but discount retailers really suck. I will only concede that the only thing worse than Target is K-Mart or Wal-Mart.

I shouldn't bitch about my job. Coach is one of the best retail places to work for -- they're like other places with a good reputation of how they treat their employees, like Starbucks and Costco.
Everyone who works at least 20 hours a week gets full health, vision, and dental benefits, for one. Also things like paid vacation, sick leave, the whole nine yards.
My job at my mom's store is pretty sweet, too. You can have food on the floor (as long as you don't eat it in front of customers) and they let you take 30-minute PAID breaks :o It's totally laid back. Bitchin'
