I'm disappointed that it's a direct Smash clone. I would've liked an arena fighter (a nod to Toshinden or something) instead of a knock off. That said, if Parappa is actually going to be rapping for his super this game will be mine. Not day 1, but eventually. I want to believe this is the return of the rapping dog.

I appreciate that they're trying to bring back the old arcade Arena fighters; but for the company and its future and the current markets worldwide this just seems like a bad bad idea to run with.  I guess Madworld 2 wouldn't have been much better though.

I think this might've actually worked as an XBLA game for the MP aspect.  Like in today's market Phantom Dust would only work as an XBLA game; not a retail one.

I played the demo for that when it first came out.

Was fun for about 15 mins, then got boring like every visual novel out there.  I really really dislike Japanese murder mystery visual novels.  Actually scratch that, I just don't like Japanese visual novels at all.  At least 999 was tolerable for me because at it had puzzles and SRW works because it has SRPG battles (Sakura Taisen too).  I'm cool with visual novel combined with gameplay, but pure visual novel games are so boring.  When there's gameplay, the visual novel parts are like the cutscenes you watch between the gameplay sections.  When there's no gameplay it's like a cutscene that WILL NEVER END and that kills the pacing for me.  Would rather read a book.

Bought Torchlight 2.

Played an hour of Torchlight 1 which I never finished (got to floor 25ish all those years back), was like travelling back 10 years in time of game design compared to D3. Hope Torchlight 2 will be loads better cause this wasn't fun anymore after playing D3.

Xmen Legends games, Marvel Ultimate Alliance, Wolverine, Spider-Man Web of Shadows, Shattered Dimensions, and I'm sure others, are only rarely found at retail.

I suspect digital versions weren't included in the original deals oh-so-long ago, and Activision and Marvel likely aren't seeing eye-to-eye on a deal to do so.  Remember, Marvel would very much like to have their licenses back, so they're probably playing super-hardball with Activision at this point.

That's pretty lame.  I never got around to MUA since I was burnt out on Xmen Legends at the time.  Now I'd be willing to impulse buy it.

I don't think young people even like South Park. Its one of those things that young people who grew up with it have fond feelings toward but now they are much older.

I get that they are going for a something that has a budget beyond XBLA scope so you have to charge a bit more to get their budget back but that price should be $30 or max $40 dollars. Not 60.

At least this seems like something that suits Obsidian's skills instead of most of the crap they've put out recently.

I think it's pretty certain it won't be released in North America on PSP.

As for GKH, I was also planning on buying it. The cancellation seems to be a fault entirely of Vanillaware's.

Some people are saying that Rock Band iOS doesn't have external activation servers and that it might be a situation with music rights expiring. Suck either way for everyone that plays it.
