Tried Lead & Gold since it was a free.

Fun, but mouse speed is slow even on max, keyboard controls are awkward (direction + ctrl to dodge), and no AA because it's stupid UE3.0 so jaggiessss

Will give it one more try another day this weekend with a X360 controller and see if it's any more enjoyable.

Same. Also:

- Slightly 'off' fov.

- Weapons don't feel powerful at all.

- Gameplay is just too bland.

It's not really like TF2 to to be fair. TF2 is really fast paced and big team fun. You play lots and lots of rounds. L&G strikes me as the kind of game you play a few long matches and are done for the night.

yeah updated drivers, updated physx, changed my sound stuff, and nothing

So even though L&G is supposed to be free for another 2 1/2 hours, the game disappeared from my list and when I click "start game" from the game's page in the store it does nothing.

Guess I'm not giving it a 2nd look!

There seems to be a couple issues lately. Gabe issued a formal apology to something like 12000 people who got 'erroneously banned' from MW2 a couple days ago... Along with 2 free copies of L4D2 (for a friend and yourself).

Yeah, I was just getting some bad draws. When you get a bunch of Grizzly Bears going with +3/+3 & Trample, you can do some damage. Managed to get the "Deal 20 Damage in 1 Turn" pretty easily.

Decided to take a stab at that gothic horror adventure game Alter Ego. There weren't many reviews online for it (and most of the ones I did find were German) but the main complaints seem to be there's a lot of walking around and the graphics are dated. Yeah, okay. If you're not prepared for that, then let me recommend another genre.
