That new shooting mah lazers gun is totally OP

I found it in a random drop and it's so awesome. I love how people are begging for trades for the Black Box to make it and stuff. Suckers.

I crafted my vintage Direct Hit (I have a strange one so it's ok) instantly to get a Black Box to make one. Was well worth it!

I participated in the Dirt3 free giveaway but didn't get the key until late last night. Now that I think about it, I don't really want it since I'm not crazy about the series, or Racers on PC in general. Any takers? PM me to get the key.

Writing, voice-acting, role-playing, and atmosphere are absolutely top-notch, but it's just painfully obvious that the team didn't have enough time, money, or skill with 3D graphics to build a proper game around all that. It still make me sad to think about what 8-10 more months, a few more million dollars, and some experienced programmers could have produced.

Dino D-Day isn't that great at all.

It seems like a shoddy DoD mod, half the guns make the same sound. I'm not sure if I played on the same map over and over or if they're all the same and I didn't explore enough.

Although to be fair, I could only find deathmatch servers and played for like a half hour or so. It seemed like one of those ideas that could be great if Valve or someone like that took the time to balance and examine everything. Surprised they sold it at the price they did before.

Sorta like Black Ops free weekend a while back. Just blah.

It's pretty fun, but like most of this multi-only games, the community is probably really small.

I liked VVVVVV a lot more.  The entire retro style is awesome and actually works (many games try, few pull it off); great music and graphics.  The challenge feels equal parts puzzle and skill; each screen is satisfying to clear and never got frustrating.  I like the Metroid-lite world map.  The core flip mechanic is really well thought out and every new dungeon/level specific mechanic immediately clicks.  No bosses or real sour spots.  Just a really well designed and fun game.

The only part that got annoying was the yellow guy following you part and it lasted less than five minutes.

If/when this gets steam achievements and completing "No death mode" is one of them, I wonder how many people can get it.  I died hundreds of times.

Installing Vampire The Masquerade as I type this, then installing the 7.6b patch.

Does the patch render the infamous battle system functional/better, or should is it still as horrid, and god mode is still highly recommended?

The patches, unfortunately, don't really address the fundamental problems with the game. Most likely it's because the community is only attacking the surface problems since they don't have access to the actual game code.

Maybe some day someone will make the game from the ground up and just import the voice files, but that hasn't happened yet.
