there's an essential mod for Bloodlines that I'm totally blanking on, but it makes it adds in widescreen, cut content, and generally makes it less unfinished.

Oath in Felghana (basically, ever Ys game but 1, 2 and both versions of 4) has you actually swinging the sword. There's something to be said of just mindlessly running into enemies and kicking their asses though... Oath in Felghana on Steam is awesome, hopefully we will one day see Ys Origin and the Tits games on there too.

Yes, if you have any interest in a modern and less linear take on the classic adventure game. It solves a lot of problems with them, though the camera made me a little wobbly. Great game.

Is Dungeon Seige actually worthwhile? I've heard it mentioned all the time but people's standards on action-RPGs (with loot?) aren't exactly high.

I played 10 hours of both the first and the second Dungeon Siege games and they're decent. If you've already played Diablo II, Torchlight, Vampire the Masquerade: Redemption, Titan Quest, and Nox then they might be worth picking up.

They're decent action-RPGs with lots of loot to grab and enemies to kill. Nothing really exceptional, but worth playing if you don't have anything currently waiting in your backlog.

2 and 3 are decent, anyway, I never could get into the first game.

I bought Dustforce. Seems cool but too many buttons to remember on the keyboard. How do you get a X360 controller working with this? Do you need to remap each button/analog one by one? Also is there an order you are supposed to approach the worlds in? As in a proper difficulty curve?

otoh I listened to the whole ost last night while watching some porn, excellent, excellent soundtrack. Will be listening to this for a while. Totally captures that chiptune feel and is nicely original in its compositions.

I got through the whole game with a keyboard (

) so I'm not sure about gamepad stuffs.

As for the levels, just follow the path starting at the tutorial. There are books in each area of the hub that list all the levels in order of difficulty. The controls might take an hour or two to get used to so just practice in the first couple of levels and try to get dem SS rankings. It'll click eventually.

i mapped all the available controls to my 360 controller but i cant seem to enter levels... i choose a level. hit PLAY and it does nothing. i dunno.
