Some folks liked it, but I hated Condemned 2.

Condemned 2 was bum fights: the game.  It has the dumbest story in video games (not an exaggeration).  I liked it, just not nearly as much as the first game.  Condemned 1 ruled.

If you weren't planning on playing it now, chances are it'll be cheaper in the upcoming bigger sales.

and I swear I saw Call of Cthulhu on the sale earlier.  Maybe it was just an error.

Condemned 1 was great, definitely one of the best 360 launch games. The only thing I remember about Condmened 2 was being chased by a bear and hadoukens. It's a terrible sequel, but I guess the game wasn't too bad on its own.

As for the sale, I got The Walking Dead since I like the TV show. The only other Telltale game I've played is Sam & Max season 1, which I didn't really care for. Hope TWD is better.

Kinda interested in Alice as well. I've always wanted to check it out but never got around to it. I've already got way too many games to play tho, I dunno.

I looked through my wishlist and the sale and here's what I see:

They Bleed Pixels ($3) - Good price, but I bet this is in a bunch of bundles before xmas.
The Walking Dead ($15) - ok price, but it's Telltale so it'll be like $2 in a year
I Am Alive ($11) - Wow, $4 off.  Yawn.  Will pick up in another few months when it's at least half off.
The Darkness II ($12.50) - Still too expensive.  Main game price needs to drop so 75% will mean <$10
Hell Yeah! ($7.50) - Looks cool and I liked Arkedo's indie games, but I've heard so many bad things about this game.  Even from our own forum :(  Don't want to pay more than a buck or two for it.
Orcs Must Die 2 ($7.50) - Loved the original, but feels like I just played the first one.  Will wait a year and get it for $3.75 like I got the first.

So yeah, I don't think I'm buying anything this sale.  Which is ok because I just spent like $100 on $20 games in the last week or two now that deep discounts are starting.

I'd have to agree, except for the difficulty spikes single player it's better in nearly every way.

See I enjoyed the spikes, since it extended the amount I could play single player.  Also I found out latter that if you have good trap combos the spikes are a lot less spikey than what I thought they were.

I think it is.  I bought it from Amazon a week ago at the same price and it registered on Steam, with achievements and all.  Unless they give out different codes.

I really liked Darkness 2.  It's shallow but very fun.  And it's a better game than RAGE (only because this was the last shooter I played).

Hmm...apparently it is a Steam game, but it's not shown as Steamworks on Wikipedia. Oh well, purchase away, then!

^ yeah, I picked it up there.  Ancient Chinese Undead Nightmare with those enemies from Mario Land :rock  The $5 price is/was a mistake. It's 560 points on the Xbox.

Also, if more people get The Darkness 2, I'll be interesting in trying out the co-op.  You can play it single player and it's pretty fun alone.  It's like Uncharted 2 style where it's a mini-level.

For Steam games like Sleeping Dogs, they just give you a Steam code, but they're not a key reseller if that's what you're asking. GMG is an authorized retailer, like Amazon, Gamersgate, or Impulse, there's nothing shady about it.

Yeah, it's based in the UK, so when CCs and banks in the US see you using your card on a foreign "gaming" site, it triggers some automatic fraud alert flags. But the site is totally legit, though. I've used it a lot and so do a ton of people at GAF.

Well it says I can't use it due to region restrictions. So I could be wrong in saying its RU, but most of those games are like that cause they sell for so cheap over there. It didn't have anything saying that when I bought it on Greenman, they've always been a great place to buy too...

Yeah doing vpn and using Russian codes can get you banned... all those games gone.

Buying codes from other regions is meh, unless you really go there. The whole infrastructure of companies depends on you buying in your region.

GMG usually doesn't have any problems with regards to that. Seems like this issue might be specifically related to where G lives and how things were set up with the game itself. It totally sucks that it's that way, though.
