$50 in the U.S. and already 88% of the way to the first preorder unlock bonus.   The second one is Lost Planet 1 and the final is the RE Revelations Season pass.

Doesn't Capcom lean towards low discounts during Steam sales? You'll be waiting so long you probably won't care by the time it hits your sweet-spot.

Generally yeah, but was Dead Rising 2: OTR was $10 and SFxT was $15 after just a few months. Plus, I still haven't played RE6 yet, and I'm not paying more for RE:R than 6.

That's what Im thinking, I want to play RE6 and maybe the other ones, but Im not paying more for the 3ds remake then the mainline game.

Anyhoo they finally fixed Company of Heroes on Steam for me so I'm trying that for the first time ever :rock

How's the 'gameplay'?

No Agarest game has rated higher than 65% on GameRankings, so probably not very good. :lol

Already passed greenlight :lol

Angry Video Game Nerd Adventures
Battle Worlds: Kronos

Dead Trigger

It's pretty bad. Unless there's some huge PC improvements it's like a z grade hentai game. Idea Factory is well known for its shovelware. Maybe if you can get it for $5 or something.

It's true that the character art is a bit weird and Poser-y outside the actual levels but it is pretty great otherwise. Love the music too. It's really weird and jarring at first but it works.  I think we're gonna run into a brick wall of difficulty pretty soon but we've already had our money's worth from it.

Has anyone played the steam version of Cave Story +? I'm having a weird issue with the controls. The action button doesn't seem to work? I'm using the 360 pad and it seems to be configured correctly. But I can't seem to do anything in the very first room (which has some health, a save point and a door) other than move and jump. Have tried all the buttons on every object and nothing happens. Have also tried it with the keyboard. Have also tried reconfiguring the controls, assigning 'fire/select' or whatever to buttons or keys that it registers otherwise...no go. Maybe the game just has some weird mechanic that I don't know about yet?

push up or down, huh. You'd think some kind of mention would be made of that somewhere.

I don't really even think about finishing most games these days, Raban. Unless I can do it in one session, or my daughter gets into it too :lol

I've been trying a ton of my Steam pile o'shame lately. Will report if I find anything cool.

Anyone play Trackmania? I'm wondering if it's worth picking up one of either Stadium or Canyon, or if there will inevitably be some GOTY style package later. I don't need a ton of content but i sort of want to try both of those types of environments

i LOVE trackmania but i have yet to pick up either of the two new games.  the previous versions never got GOTY'd if I can recall.  Instead they were upgraded and expanded through patches which gives the game a new name.  For example.  I just went searching for Trackmania on Steam to confirm and the most recent version of Trackmania is something called "Trackmania United Forever Star Edition" When I bought it it was just Trackmania United but it's been through 3 different upgrades / expansions all of which have been free to me.

Raban -

only got to play like 10 mins of Dyad but does it even have a full-screen option? It also kicked up a DOS window that sat behind the game window for me. Pretty shabby for a port of a game that's been out for ages, I thought. Nothing is more irritating to me now than starting up a game that has 'full controller support' and immediately having to get up to use the mouse and keyboard to dismiss some bullshit pop-up or fiddle with menus or whatever

Mine also defaulted to windowed and has a DOS prompt, but it's no big deal in fullscreen (which it does have). Scroll to the bottom of the screen to get into the config menu. I just booted it up, and outside of clicking "launch" with my mouse, worked perfectly fine controller only. I hope you have a better experience next time! It's a really cool game!
