Another game to put in the game showcase thing.  :smug

Lots of games are on sale this weekend, mostly horror-theme games but a few others are thrown in there, too.

I got Black Mirror 2 and 3, Eldritch and Hydrophobia. I have to see what went wrong with the latter and for 49c I might as well. Only used card money, too. :]

Bought the Black Mirror Trilogy for $3, that Necronomicon game for $1 even though it's shite (but it's a buck), and The Evil Within Season Pass for $10.

...Auctions?!

Right now the prices are ridiculously inflated because people figured out how to dupe the gems. They fixed the exploit and blocked people from selling gems on the market, but the market has already been flooded. We'll see if they fix this shit.

It's a new thing they're doing with this auction. You can take items in your Steam inventory [emoticons, wallpapers, games, cards] and turn them into gems, which are then used to bid on games in the auction.

Card/emoticon/etc. prices are shooting up on the market.

I had a card left over from the summer thing like two years ago that I just never marketed because its price was like three cents. Just sold it for 25 cents within five minutes of posting it at that price. (Average for last 24 hours was eight cents.)

Everytime I go to STEAM website through http, no matter what computer I'm on...it takes me to the Russian site.  Like if I buy a bundle and do the "authorize through steam" it takes me to the russian version of steam and I have to guess which is "accept".

Any explanation?  Or does it sense my russian jew genes and give me the page of my ancestors?

View -> Settings -> Interface -> Language

Sometimes it gets messed up if you click on a link for a different language version of the Steam site, but that should be able to get you sorted out.

The lame thing about the DLC thing is that you can't activate/deactivate those in their new little box thing, it just pops up the settings thing.

I think I've only ever done this for one game though.

Getting kinda sick of this, Valve.  :beli

They need to have a setting that blocks all level 0-1 friend requests or make it so you don't receive any friend requests.

Yes. I get 2-3 friend requests from Level 0 users with private accounts per day. Gee, I'm sure this isn't a scammer.
