I bought 32 off my wishlist ;_;

But I think that's my big gaming purchase for the year.  Can wait until x-mas 2016 to get the next batch.

Nah, they just take longer.  Most of the 1-2 year old+ games on my wishlist are 66%-75%, 2015 games are like 33-50%.

Basically just wait a year or two now.  Which is fine if most of them are gonna end up in your backlog and never gonna be played anyways.

Steam Controller got an update, and according the the update page you can now use the touch keyboard anywhere (EG in a browser) but I can't figure out how to do this. Anyone have an idea?

Huh, they should've mentioned that in the patch notes.

In any case, once they enable you to customize and use it without Big Picture Mode is when the controller is gonna be ready for mass testing.

Kind of annoyed Underrail raised it's price from $10 to $15 now that it's out of early access.  Had been waiting on a sale at the $10 price, but now it's $14 on sale  :doge

I'm sure it's worth it as I've heard it's good, but didn't know games could raise their price coming out of early access.  I always thought they lowered it, so I usually wait until the game actually gets done and released.

The few I've paid attention to all gave "discounts" for buying in early. Kerbal, I think did for example. Went up to $30 at launch.

Of course, there's a lot of Early Access Forever stuff out there...

I don't know if the money breakdown is different, aka Valve gets more or less % of Early Access purchases.

The Skyrim DLCs are 2.50 on Amazon, so if you're like me and didn't cop them when they came out/didn't wanna buy the LE and get stuck with another gimped copy of the game, now is your chance to save 5$

Yup.  Picked up a bunch of cheap stuff, Dark Souls II, and Mad Max since it went down another $10 since the Thanksgiving Sale ($30->$20) and at $20 I'll bite.

You picked a bad year. The lack of dailies and flashes mean this sale is pretty weak. I'll probably cop a few $10 or under titles on my wish list and that's about it.

I dunno, nothing in the last couple years that hasn't been out for a decent while has gotten that great of a discount. They've been weaker in general in the post EA era.

Also I just filed my first ever steam refund for Mad Max because I preordered it like an idiot when MGSV, FO4 and JC3 were on the horizon

Nah, this sale is even better than the thanksgiving sale and that one was pretty good.  I cut my wishlist from 80 or so games down to like 30 between the two sales.  Lots of stuff 66-75% off.  I remember going through a couple of sales without buying much, but these last two have been real good.  Lots of cheap indie stuff, lots of cheap 1-2 year old AAA games, and even the stuff from earlier this year is like 50% off or in Mad Max's case 66%.

Fortunately/unfortunately I own the console versions of DS1 and DS2.

Maybe I'll give Divinity: Original Sin a go. I heard a lot people talking about it last year.

I'd pick up Frozen Synapse if you're into tactical planning games. It's pretty interesting and $2.50 isn't anything to sneeze at for it. (There's a demo? IIRC. The remake by Sony is on the store as well and it has a bit better presentation. But the multiplayer for that is DEAD DEAD DEAD and while Frozen Synapse's multiplayer isn't very "alive" it's better than the Prime release)

Also get Civlization 5 + Expansions. :doge

There's also Hotline Miami 1/2 and Faster than Light: FTL that I'd recommend.

Not that I'd ever want to replay the game, but I'm guessing it's based on the PS2 version so 30fps?  If so, it'll be interesting to see if people can unlock it to 60fps like Zestiria.
