Comedy Central is bringing back MTV’s iconically crude animated comedy “Beavis and Butt-Head” for an additional two seasons through a sprawling deal with producer Mike Judge.
Judge, who created the Gen X-defining series about a duo of unfiltered teenage couch potatoes, will reimagine the irreverent series for a Gen Z audience. The Emmy winner will also create additional spinoffs and specials for the network as it doubles down on its adult animation offerings, the network said Wednesday.
The “Silicon Valley” and “King of the Hill” creator is set to write, produce and provide voices for both titular characters in the head-banging, face-palming satirical comedy.
“It seemed like the time was right to get stupid again,” Judge said in a statement.

Daria isn't getting a revival. They're making a spin-off with one of the other characters in the show.

Don't have a problem reviving something irreverent like :beavis, but KOTH went out on a strong note (IIRC).

Apparently it's on the cards and in pre-production, but with enough changes to effectively be a different show. I heard that Bobby will be all grown up, for example.
It's either going to be Season-6-great or The-Goode-Family-bad.
A revival of the animated comedy series King of the Hill is set to arrive sometime in the near future. Series creators Mike Judge and Greg Daniels announced in January of this year the formation of their new animation company Bandera Entertainment, which is intended to be a platform for developing several new shows. Among their list of announced projects, none has garnered more attention than the revival of Judge and Daniels’ classic sitcom King of The Hill.

They're at like number 10 now, Beavis. "Number." :beavis
It's pretty good overall- better writing than the last revival. The only thing I didn't like was a live video segment of two guys trying to see if a cow's eyeball would bounce. I had to skip over that one. :yuck
I like the recent episodes where Beavis meets Butt-Head's "doppleganger" who is just more of a normal dude and hangs out with him and then following that, one where Butt-Head is given pills to curb his violent, abusive nature and gradually becomes "normal" too, even opting to study in school, to Beavis' absolute horror.
The last current episode is like an epilogue to the recent movie and features old Beavis and Butt-Head. They even do the video commentary!
