Got a ton of stuff moved out of our apartment and to my parents' house on Saturday, where we'll be for a few weeks until we can move into our new place. The place is almost empty now. Just the larger furniture and our computers are inside. We're "roughing it" for a week since just about everything else is packed up. Felt really good to get so much crap moved on our own. Now when the movers come this weekend I can just leave the bigger stuff to them and get out of that place ASAP. So ready to leave that complex.

Nah, it's just my monthly absinthe budget down the toilet. (They're both supposed to make me happy, dat fungibility.)

I had to hide my sticker shock when I got rung up, doe; can't let that gal I flirt with there know I don't ball hard / hate myself so much that I won't pay to feel better.

On a tangential note, there are accounting programs that let you conduct sorcery like book negative debits (not credits) so I see all sorts of numbers' equivalent of red asphalt. I've even seen someone fuck up a balance sheet in QuickBooks so that it will never balance, which is impressive considering QuickBooks is almost idiot proof. All these memories gone, like tears in the rain.

I've been thinking about getting a Moto Guzzi to drive around downtown because driving a car downtown sucks, but after my recent being photographed like a zoo animal experience I feel like this kind of bike wouldn't make me look cool but quaint.

1) lost 15 pounds so far on my quest to get back to 190 and %15 bf

2) boss said he might give me a second raise

Quit my job. Did it almost a week ago, but didn't have a spare moment to post it here until now. I liked the money, but with programming assignments often due at midnight (less than 2 hours after my shifts ended) I rarely had enough time to get important shit done no matter how early I started. They'd also just promoted 3 people who I'm pretty sure I was just as if not more experienced than so I felt like this was as a good a time as any to leave.

Grades will certainly go up and maybe I'll even be able to post on the Bore more than once a month. Spring break technically started a half hour ago so I'm p hyped about that too.

Was probably because you're in school and they know in the long-term, you'll probably move on to something better paying. I've seen that in basically everywhere I've worked. When does your program finish?

wasn't sure if I wanted this in triumph or struggle... went with triumph. helped the in laws do some kitchen remodel work and celebrate the MIL's bday, brought my torte parts to finish and create the final product you see before you.

struggle #1: parents boxed away their cake platter and i gave up looking so I had to use a plate

struggle #2: my son kept poking the ganache so I had to keep blowdrying it glossy

triumph: three layers of torte with raspberry jam filling and coated in a thick layer of chocolate ganache is so unquestionably decadent i think I ate three days worth of calories in just a couple slices
