Wait, what's wrong with rotoscoping?

It's different and a style choice.  Don't see anything wrong with that gif
There is nothing wrong with rotoscoping, but it is not an excuse to use togashi/kubo level of detail

Doing a rotoscoped anime is a neat idea, but they don't actually do anything interesting with the rotoscoping, they just traced over some actors and called it day. Should have gotten Richard Linklater to direct it.

Majestic Prince 01
Could become interesting but more or less the same as many modern mecha anime I have seen before 6/10

Yahari ore no Seishun Love Come wa Machigatteiru (something or other about bad high school romance) - 01
Havent watched a drama/comedy in a while 7/10 seems decent and potentially funny

Devil Survivor 2 - 01
Eh, I can work with this, reminds me of Keikkaishi 7/10

Best show so far is The Devil is a Part-Timer, it finds ways to take old tropes and mix them up in a way that's still a lot of fun. And those first few minutes have better animated, better directed action scenes than most action series can muster up.

It's streaming free on Funimation.

It was Gon's left mr. blindy! =P

I really loved the ep of HxH, gon becomes so unlikable in battle when he becomes selfish and stupid. I think the point is to try and endear him to the fans with the never say die stuff, but it almost always makes me dislike him (which is okay, I'm more of a Killua guy). Will get to JoJo final tomorrow!

i'm conflicted,it feels incredibly slow paced but it's also one of the most wacky-jappy thing i've ever seen,like... nothing happens for 10 minutes then suddenly at the next minute the most random shit ever happen
though from the description i somehow envisioned a more gag-like show

JoJo's finally ended with episode 26 last weekend.  Did a marathon session, finishing it starting with #19.  Totally crazy, awesome shit- I wish the final battle went on longer, but it was all great so I can't complain.

Post-credits scene sets up part 3, too- guess that pretty much confirms it's coming!  :hyper
