There's a bunch of stuff I'll try this season but I have no idea if any of them will last more than one episode for me.  JoJo's is the only lock.

I just watched the last episode of SamFlam. It wasn't crazy as I expected, but it was perfect, especially the last shot. For batshit insane anime, this one takes the cake.

WASHINGTON—Following a comprehensive two-year linguistic survey, a report published Wednesday in the academic journal Language revealed that 58 percent of Japanese speakers worldwide are 23-year-old white men from the United States. “Our findings indicate that a majority of individuals who can fluently speak and comprehend Japanese are actually Caucasian post-collegiate American males, many of whom order in Japanese at sushi restaurants and were one of the few white members of their universities’ Japanese clubs,” read the report in part, which noted that American-born 23-year-old men who taught English for a year in Kobe or Sapporo after graduation currently outnumber all other speakers of the Japanese language, including the entire population of the East Asian island nation and its millions of emigrants living throughout the world. “Though the Japanese dialect was spoken almost exclusively by individuals of Japanese origin until the mid-18th century, it is now largely a vernacular utilized by young white men who decorate their apartments with traditional Japanese prints and are devoted fans of manga artist Hayao Miyazaki. In fact, if present trends continue, we predict that within several decades the Japanese language will be spoken almost exclusively by fair-skinned twentysomething U.S. citizens who regularly purchase packaged seaweed snacks from small Asian markets and watch Akira Kurosawa films several times per month.” The report further confirmed that virtually 100 percent of this demographic is either currently dating or recently broke up with a woman named Miku.

Rewatching random eps of Gundam 00 s2 for nostalgia reasons. Such cool ideas and battles, but man, I was reminded how the show annoyingly had useless idiot characters for like half the cast (Nena, Lie Mei, Hong Long, Lasse, Billy, Patrick, Kati, MISTAH BUSHIDOH, and of course the Most Useless Character in Any Anime Ever That Still Gets a ton of Fucking Screentime for No Fucking Reason: Marina Ismail.) If those characters were axed or downplayed s2 would have been easily better than s1 IMO.

The set-up is - different, but the plot is nothing special, no. Keep watching, there are twists that make it more interesting. And character development. But it's mostly about high-octane insanity with some emotional punches and 'powering up' and all that.

no,in fact i stopped watching on episode 20 because something so stupid happens it made me stopped caring about watching the rest, episode 21 is there just to drag thing and having more fight scenes than it should have

But it's mostly about high-octane insanity with some emotional punches and 'powering up' and all that.

this

uh anyway i just realized that bakuman has ended! back when i gave a fuck they were at a point where they made a super popular manga but it couldn't have been made into an anime because it's content weren't proper for tv, which i tought was really fucking stupid considering loverupopsicle.gif is a thing so i checked the ending and in the end they do make another super popular manga which get turned into an anime which sounds like a really lazy cop-out ending to something that was getting dragged on purpouse (which ehy! i guess it's kinda like death note), but if someone here on thebore readed it all would he mind giving me a summary?

Anyone watch the Harlock movie? The subtitles with the version I watched were pretty bad but the visuals were pretty great at least. Also the story slides into comedy when a deep tragedy hinges on a guy who just wanted the plants to grow.
