Does Netflix have good anime? Someone I know watched AOT and liked it, but I dont have Netflix to tell him anything else.

Also is there a site that hosts the manga from where the anime ended? Mangastream only has so much before they stop due to licensing or respect, one of the two.

So, Ghibli's latest movie, When Marnie Was There, was basically a bomb. It opened at #3 in the box office and took in less than half of what Arrietty, the director's previous movie, did in its opening weekend, which was already a bit weak compared to other Ghibli movies. Long story short, they're in a really not good place right now.

The most unironically good show this season is Sabagebu, a show about a high school survival game club [airsoft] made up of five girls. Now, the reason it's actually good and not a giant pile of garbage, is that it has a really great sense of humor, doesn't spend much of any time pandering to perverts, and has a top-shelf main character, a unrepentantly violent, petty, and self-absorbed girl who wins through whatever means necessary and doesn't afraid of anything.

And it's got Chuck Norris:

It's streaming on Crunchryoll, in HD with a subscription or a weak later in SD for free with commercials.

Rumbler, you never answered my pm, but I'm serious. I'm currently drafting ideas for animated shorts and drawing story boards. If you want in, and join me in my move to LA we can do this.

How do these ideas sound:

- A short of a tree from seed to being cut down, the people its seen, the hands that have touched its bark, the changes of the area it experienced, from birth to death. If I'm going to tell a story about humans, a good way to practice is to focus on inanimate objects, a tree being a good example, and attempt to humanize them.

- Inspired by Pink Floyd's Wishing You Were Here, a story about two people's very different reactions to a loved one's death.

- A short inspired by the melting pot of modern humanity and America urbanism, similar to Cowboy Bebop Knockin on Heaven's Door OP. Hell, might as well use the same song and see if I can do it better.

What I have in my head, I think is definitely better.

We need an animator.

Finally caught ep2 of Sailor Moon Cyrstal. Glad they dropped the plotline where Luna thinks Ami is with the Negaverse.

This show can be pretty hype at times. At others, the direction feels a little lacking.

Ahh, that's better.
