Read the last volume of Flowers of Evil and was just blown away. The final chapter is just amazing.

Yeah the final chapter is great. If you were ever to re-read the series again, it would make things even more interesting because you'd see things through her perspective.

A year-long subscription to Funimation's streaming service only costs about $55, or about the price of a single show on Bluray. It's definitely worth getting, especially since they have a pretty big backlog of older shows, too.

Garo was pretty good, yeah. Was surprised to find out it's based on a live-action Power Rangers rip-off show.

That Twintails show is entirely fucked up. Note that the red-haired woman is the main character's (red haired dude that lusts after twin tails, who transforms into loli twin-tailed superhero) mother.

I haven't watched the later series but the first Garo toku was pretty good (or I thought as much at the time). IIRC it was designed to basically be a kamen rider/sentai style show but a bit more graphic for a slightly older audience. It's still a toku though so it's still silly as hell.

It died for awhile but they brought it back recently, got 2 new seasons (probably more now) and then this anime.

Both of these series are good if you have an interest in yaoi or anything that's gay. Both shows start off similar with two young males getting "overly familiar" with each other if you know what I mean. Pico and Tamotsu are just like Kirito and Klein! In both series the two males share a very passionate relationship with each other and it's just so beautiful! It will make you laugh, it will make you cry, and it will most definitely make you horny! If you like either one of these series then I guarantee you will like the other!

Nichijou is pretty great, although it's really an absurdist comedy masquerading as a slice-of-life. Daily Lives of Highschool Boys and Seitokai Yakuindomo are also top-tier.

this feels like a series done in 80s, which is nice, but the character designs from gainer and eureka 7 makes it feel jarring. hell, i was almost expecting the ending to be done by megumi hayashibara

My g/f and I have been watching Madoka Magica. It's her first anime (apart from when we saw The Wind Rises in theater) and I was surprised she really took a liking to it. Up to episode 10 (of 12) and shit has really been picking up... the big plot twist hit and I just love when stuff gets all insane. And the scenes where they fight the witches are just sooo straight-up Persona. Great show.

I feel like the character designer does a nice job of feeling like Zeta/ZZ/Victory but still has own style.

Btw, Attack on Titan is still overrated tripe, Sailor Moon Crystal could be better but is still enjoyable, YGO Arc-V is still something only I care about but it's great, and Hunter x Hunter ending made my life lose all meaning. But I might start watching Jojo so things might be okay.
