Here's the shows I'm watching this season:

The Saga of Tanya the Evil
Hilarious. :lol It's about this misanthropic salaryman that gets killed after casually firing a subordinate and has to face God (who he refuses to believe exists, and names "Being X" instead). God finds his continued atheism annoying, and decides to reincarnate him into a crappy life so that he'll have to rely on God this time. When he wakes up, he's been reborn (as a girl, Tanya) in a magical prewar Nazi Germany, but with all the knowledge of her previous life intact. Tanya has to use all the knowledge of the 21st century, all the ruthlessness of a Japanese salaryman, and all of her magic (which she has for some reason because anime) to win WWI & II for Germany, while still keeping her atheism intact. Deus vult!

Konosuba: God's Blessing on this Wonderful World S2
Another "guy dies and gets sent to a magical world" (it's a popular anime trope atm) except this one is basically about the world's worst D&D party. He's got an archpriest/goddess who wasted most of her stat points on parlor tricks to show off at parties, an archmage who invested all her points into explosion magic and only knows a single high-level spell (Explosion) which drains all her mana for a single day every time she casts it, and a masochistic Paladin that has extremely high stats in every category except for luck, which is so low that every attack is a critical miss, however she (sexually) enjoys absorbing damage for the team.

Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid
Miss Kobayashi goes drinking, wanders into a forest, meets a dragon, befriends the dragon, the dragon wants to have sex with her, she does not want to have sex with the dragon, but she lets the dragon assume human form and become her maid in exchange for room and board. The End.

Scum's Wish
A deliciously trashy highschool love-quadrilateral. Hana and Mugi are publicly dating, but privately both of them are in love with their teachers, Kanai-sensei and Minagawa-sensei. Noriko hates Hana and is in love with Mugi. Hana doesn't love Mugi, but she hates Noriko, so she enjoys acting possessive of Mugi when Noriko is around. Mugi is not in love with Noriko, but thinks of her as kind of a friend, so he's reluctant to outright reject her adavnces. Sanae is best friends with Hana but secretly is also in love with her. Hana is not in love with Sanae, but does have just a skosh of lesbian sex with her anyway.  Kanai-sensei is love with Minagawa-sensei, and Minagawa-sensei is secretly kind of ho that enjoys having sex with other women's men. Although Kana-senseii isn't dating anyone, Minagawa-sensei finds out that Hana is secretly love with him, so she decides to fuck him just to fuck with her.  :heart :heart :heart

Gantz O well that was terrible like the manga.  I don't know why I spent years glued to reading the Gantz manga, watching the anime and now watching this.  It worked a lot better in the middle of the manga when there were at least good mysteries driving the whole thing as to what Gantz is and who the aliens were.  But knowing the shitastic explainations and how the manga ended, it's pretty uninteresting outside the pulp violence and while the CG was good, the violence was toned down a ton and it was just kinda boring.  Whatever, Gantz sucks.

I recenltly bought both seasons of Code Geass on Blu ray among other older anime(Escaflowne ect). I've re-watched Geass many times, but not too recently. I mean the show is'nt good, but it's so much fun. It's just full of so much energy, fun characters, nice animation, and great direction. Yes, most of the twists are stupid, but they are just so crazy you can't help but watch.

Yet honestly it is a good spin on the post Gundam Seed and Death Note anime. Lulu is actually a fun protagonist, not deep but actually has something going on. I was watching aldnoah zero recently which is another pretty meh show with some good ideas. Yet, what is it with Japan and these boring emotionless leads? The character there is just so unbearable in his unhuman thoughts and reactions to everything. Yet that is'nt uncommon in anime or games. No one in Code Geass lacks personality or emotion.

I mean it's stupid fun. I also feel kind of old. It's 10 years old now and I remember fondly torrenting the show week from week waiting to see how crazy it would get. I remember all the gifs of it's dumb scenes. It's just such memorable shlock. It's follow ups never matched it.

Hope whatever the new one is, is good. Akito was awful.

Finished playing through Cross Ange's plot in Super Robot Wars V.  Never seen the show, but seemed alright in the game.  Gonna check out the last 2-3 eps to see the final battles.  I read the wiki and the plot sounds...pretty different from how it went down in SRW V.

Have you ever though to yourself "Queen's Blade was pretty good, but it had too much plot and character development getting in the way of my appreciation of big-titty anime babes"? Well, fortunately for you, Japan has heard your thoughts:

http://www.crunchyroll.com/seven-mortal-sins

Seven Mortal Sins is a big-titty anime babe delivery vehicle that has been specially designed to be as streamlined and efficient as possible, offering one big-titty anime babe per 0.35 seconds, well above the national average. There's also lots of aggressive yuri content and a total absence of Y chromosomes, if that's something you're into.

Oh, it's also highly blasphemous.

I've kind of lost track of what's new, since the Apple TV Crunchyroll app no longer lists shows by season.  Because doing that would make sense.   :-\

So for the new shows, I've seen:

Boruto- I'm not a Naruto fan but watched the first episode with my wife, who loves that shit.  It seemed OK I guess.  Like a return to how Naruto was when it first started.  That also seems like it could turn off a lot of people who were fans of the more serious stories.

Tsugumomo- Inanimate objects come to life as kawaii~ uguu~ girls and fight and shit.

Eromanga Sensei- Wow, this is not what I was expecting based on the title.  :lol  The art style looks a lot like Sword Art Online and the main character's VA sounds like Kirito.  Heh.  Anyway, this is about a high school kid who also works as a light novel writer.  The artist who provides illustrations for his books goes by the name "Eromanga Sensei" and never shows himself to anyone.  He also talks shit about the main character's stories.  And the twist here is that Eromanga Sensei is the main character's little step sister, who is a shut-in and never leaves her room.  For some reason I expect this character get really popular among the loli-loving otaku creeps.

Also found an older series called Wooser's Hand-to-Mouth Life.  Wow...this is a some crazy shit.  :lol
