A lot of people that play games aren't collectors in any sense. At this point, I buy discs for games I really enjoy, but I often have a digital copy anyways.
Xbox Scarlett not having a disc drive, or there not being a disc drive version of the console would bum me out a tad, but it wouldn't be too surprising if that's the case.
With how much digital games are discounted nowadays, combined with retail not stocking a variety of games in general, I'd be fine with physical going away. Besides Best buy and gamestop, shelf space for gaming stuff keeps shrinking.
ISP caps are bullshit, and a console without a disc drive is gonna hurt those people the most.
