I just want to (permanently) lose my burden of intelligence, and there are few ways to do that effectively / quickly. I've seen some legitimate research papers on the subject...

With all these debuts on Raw tonight, is Smackdown going to get anyone?
A shame, Sheamus has been in a lot of good matches with a real smash mouth style pretty much absent from WWE otherwise for the past decade.
-- The finish of the Brock Lesnar vs. Roman Reigns match was a tightly guarded secret backstage, so much that none of the writers and many of the producers were under the assumption that Reigns was going to win. The move to have Lesnar win was a late change, but Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, said it wasn't a last minute change, implying that it was likely decided sometime during the week.-- The referee did know how the finish would go but he was only told during the match to "count to three." In other words, the referee went into the match believing - like everyone else - that Reign was going to win, but at some point during the match, he received clear instruction that the finish was changed and to count the three for Brock instead.-- The reason for the switch is because it became obvious that WWE was not going to get the type of reaction from the audience that they wanted for Reigns, so now the rumor is that Lesnar will drop the title in Saudi Arabia not only to get a more positive reaction, but because WWE sees that country as an important partner and this could be a "perk" they were given.
LOL. Heyman also got re-signed, BTW.
Paul Heyman's contract is tied to Brock Lesnar's and the belief is that Heyman will always be around as long as Lesnar is. Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio said that Heyman could always stick around even if Lesnar leaves and in fact, the company already had another role lined up for him this year in the event that Lesnar decided not to re-sign.
For those wondering, last night is expected to be Paige's last appearance on TV. Her future projects with WWE include being featured on Total Divas next season as well as being used for promotion for the upcoming movie about her life.
The " twitter insiders" were saying Jeff Jarrett was going to be the GM

A recent online report suggested that the reason WWE inserted Rusev into the fatal four way for the US Title at WrestleMania was to appease him due to the fact that he supposedly asked for his release. According to Dave Meltzer on a recent Wrestling Observer Radio that report was very likely untrue, however, late on Thursday after earlier being removed from the casket match against Undertaker, Rusev changed both his Instagram and Twitter pages (removing his name) and also added an email address for booking information. These changes seem to suggest he is no longer with WWE, but neither party has made any public statements so it's anyone guess what's going on.
Meltzer gave the ladder match and Gargano/Ciampa 5 stars. The highest rated WM match was the Rousey match at 4.25.

You saying the heel turn is finally upon us?
According to an article in People, John Cena got "cold feet" as his wedding to Nikki Bella drew closer and ended their union, leaving his ex-fiancee "heartbroken." The two were supposed to get married May 5 in Mexico and got engaged last year at WrestleMania 33. Someone close to the couple told People: QuoteShe never gave him an ultimatum. He talked a really good game about having changed, about having his priorities straight, about knowing what’s important, and that it was her. But as the day got closer, it was like he just went back to who he’s always been — which is someone who puts himself first, always. He’s an incredibly dedicated, driven, ambitious guy. And for the longest time he said he didn’t think he had room in his life for a spouse or kids. It seems like in the end that was still the truth. But in that case, he never should’ve proposed, let alone in front of millions of people. Now she’s heartbroken. This was supposed to be the happiest time of her life. He ruined it and blew everything up.

In what has been a weird and seemingly pointless series of developments, WWE has announced that Rusev vs. Undertaker in a Casket Match at the Greatest Royal Rumble is back on.
