Great game for Lebron but his free throw shooting has been in the toilet this year.

The Bucks look like the dominant team in their series. Is Lowry actually healthy now or not?

The way the rest of these teams are playing other than Milwaukee and because of Chicago's unfortunate turn, the Cavs might just have an easier time this year stomping out the east than the last.

Harden had a big game there but I think he should have drove on that last play. He's a foul magnet.

There's no way Harden gets a foul call in the last 5 seconds of a game in OKC.

LA Clippers star forward Blake Griffin will miss the remainder of the postseason because of a toe injury, the team announced Saturday.

Griffin suffered an injury to the plantar plate of his right big toe in Friday night's playoff victory over the Utah Jazz, according to the Clippers. The All-Star forward will visit a foot and ankle specialist when the team returns to Los Angeles.

Lots of empty seats in Atlanta and they're talking re-signing Millsap for $200 million?  Hokay.
That's always been Atlanta though. Nique couldn't fill the Omni back in the day except for a couple years. Only six times in the last thirty years have the Hawks been in the top twenty in attendance, they've finished 25th or lower like fifteen times or something insane.

The fact that the same ownership said "hey, we should totally start an NHL team even though nobody comes to the NBA games" and then they all sued each other over Joe Johnson's contract was great.

Despite the god awful attendance I don't think they actually ever lose money. They wound up selling the Hawks for $850 million. The Spirit LLC inherited the team from Ted Turner and basically only had paid for Philips Arena. (edit: $210 million, with some % paid for by the City of Atlanta...apparently it's the third busiest concert venue in the United States so that's where they make the money plus WWE/UFC/etc.)
Quote
On November 1, 2016, the Hawks and the city of Atlanta have reached an financing agreement on renovating Philips Arena, with the city contributing $142.5 million and the Hawks $50 million to the project. With the renovation, the Hawks signed a lease extension lasting through 2046, with a $200 million early termination penalty.

I'm not convinced Atlanta Spirit LLC wasn't an elaborate money laundering operation. Kara explain.

However, it is likely that the Omni would have had to be replaced in any event. It had been built using Cor-Ten weathering steel that was intended to seal itself, ensuring it would last for decades. However, the Omni's designers didn't account for Atlanta's humid climate. The Cor-Ten steel never stopped rusting, causing the arena to deteriorate faster than anticipated.

By the 1980s, the steel had so badly deteriorated that large holes began appearing. Chain link fences were installed to keep people from crawling through the wall to see events.

that 4th quarter raptors collapse was one of the most embarrassing things i've ever witnessed
i started actively cheering against them smfh
cavs in 4 or 5 after that garbage
lowry continues to be a playoff bum
derozan put up points as usual but those turnovers in the 4th were awful
guess we'll have to wait for the conference finals for someone to potentially test the cavs before the finals...

I always like articles like that that purport to give you the inside scoop, although I'm always highly skeptical of the narrative and agenda setting within them.

The one consistency about Warriors stories is that Lacob always comes off like a dipshit. That being said he has fostered a great organization there.

Fuck the Wiz and their bitchery.  They played Atlanta MMA style for the whole series, they knocked out IT's tooth in game 1, they knocked him down again today and they throw a fucking hissy fit when IT gave them back some of their own medicine.  I hate that shit.  Don't play rough if you can't take it in turn, pussies.  I have the Wiz to win in 7 in my bracket but I'd just as soon see them lose in 4.
