The rhetoric that the shooter believed in can be found all over the site with a cursory glance, THQ knew what the site stood for, they knew before hand what they were getting themselves into. Their actions caused 8chan to get more publicity, more traffic, and likely more followers, they have to accept that there is a chance they increased the likelihood of more people being exposed to radical beliefs and with it a chance that these people might become terrorists.
I don't see how people like this don't see the obvious flaw in their logic; do they want Jussie's actions to stain the entire black community or not? Because that's what is unfair; Jussie should not represent black people, and this guy should not represent white people. He should represent a certain brand of white people, white supremecists.. and they are fucking scary, and do need to be watched/we should focus on eradicating this kind of hatred. I'm presently boycotting all games that THQ Nordic and Deep Silver publish on Steam. I am also tentatively boycotting certain Microsoft games on Steam on the grounds that THQ Nordic was apparently involved in bringing those games to Steam in some capacity and published the retail versions of those ports.
Also note that Origin Access and Gamepass have THQN games on them so I cancelled my subs until they remove them.
Likewise, I'm cancelling my Humble Monthly subscription on similar grounds after the April bundle is fully revealed (the subscription was paid for over a year ago, so THQ Nordic have had my money).
Anyone involved with this stunt needs to go. From top to bottom. To me that's the ultimate goal here. I originally didn't not think a boycott was necessarily justified but a boycott meant to pressure them to fire those involved to me makes sense. Any of the devs under the THQNordic banner also have the responsibility to pressure them as well. The amount of lives and livelihoods this is affecting is drastic and the choices of a few are not affecting a great deal.
