Here we discuss what is good and worth playing onXbox GamePass.

Currently playing Resident Evil 4 which is of course awesome, just about to start Hard Mode which I haven't played before. Also playing Hollow Knight which is good but I'm finding it a little drab. Idk

Wanting to play Just Cause 3, Halo 5 and Void Bastards next

I have been playing Metro Exodus.

Which seems pretty good, but honestly the beginning is better than once it starts to open up got really annoying when I had to fight a shit ton of mutants and used up all of my ammo.

Also started Arkham knight. Man this is still a really pretty game... is honestly it looks better on the 1x than pc, because PC the water textures still don’t work right. Want to play Vampyr too.

I thought Super Hot was pretty okay. For me, Max Payne (the entire franchise) and F.E.A.R have spoiled me on slow mo action games. Super Hot is more of a puzzle game than anythibg else.

Most people love Super Hot tho, its worth checking out.

I thought it opened strong as hell. It’s basically scripted for the first 2 hours or so and sort of reminded me of half life 2 with better graphics and gunplay.

After a point it goes sort of pseudo open world, and at that point I feel like it kind of let’s off the gas a little. I hope it goes back on rails later

Yes, it's awesome. Not sure why it's being compared with Max Payne, FEAR, and the like since it's nothing like those games. The VR version of the game is a spin-off that was made like a year or two after the original's release, BTW. It also got a sequel/expansion called Mind Control Delete that so far is only on PC.

I didn't compare them 1:1 tho, I was saying I prefer straight up slo mo action games over slo mo puzzlers. On the surface, Super Hot looks like an action game, which the campaign really isn't.

The majority of levels have solutions, where not doing the exact thing you need to do = death. You eventually unlock infinite challenge rooms, but the game is so mechanically simple, I got bored and quit on the last campaign level.

Also was not a fan of Super Hot's narrative, which is a lot more intrusive than it should be.

I thought Superhot was good, but short and not great when I played it in non-VR. I got the feeling in VR it'd be a nice improvement and be great. But in no rush to play the VR edition. Will play it in VR when the VR version is free at some point in a bundle.

Finished Hollow Knight as well (well I had 64% completion) and I really liked it.

I think it would have been better if it was like 5 hours or so shorter because I wasn’t motivated to keep exploring and just went to the final boos fight.

Wife and I played Observer over the last couple nights and I'm glad we did. This is one I never had any interest in buying but when it's included in the subscription it became a "why not give it a shot?". Turns out it's a fun little first person horror game with Rutger Hauer (!) as the lead in a techno-dystopia where you can hack people's brains to read their memories.

Had fun with it and got spooked by literally every jump scare.

They really amp up the tension by letting you open up doors as slowly as possible inch by inch to look through them and the sound design really helped with that too. Good graphics and effect, interesting story, and a lot of good scares for anyone into that. Only downside imo was there's a few stealth sequences that just felt clunky like they added them at the last minute without thinking about how movement would work. Otherwise, fully recommend this as a fun title to go through over a 2-3 nights.

It‘s the most innovative shooter I‘ve played in years!

You can finish the „story“ mode in 1-2 hours. Challenges and endless mode are great as well.

Human fall
Flat is basically a physics platform we that you might be bored of in an hour or two, but should get your cheevo quickly.

Gunfeon is addictive and awesome. I’ve probably played 20 hours of it on switch (kind of a lot for me).
