is SUPER HOT worth playing non-VR? i thought the whole point of the game was VR lol
Yes, it's awesome. Not sure why it's being compared with Max Payne, FEAR, and the like since it's nothing like those games. The VR version of the game is a spin-off that was made like a year or two after the original's release, BTW. It also got a sequel/expansion called Mind Control Delete that so far is only on PC.
I didn't compare them 1:1 tho, I was saying I prefer straight up slo mo action games over slo mo puzzlers. On the surface, Super Hot looks like an action game, which the campaign really isn't.
The majority of levels have solutions, where not doing the exact thing you need to do = death. You eventually unlock infinite challenge rooms, but the game is so mechanically simple, I got bored and quit on the last campaign level.
Also was not a fan of Super Hot's narrative, which is a lot more intrusive than it should be.
