Boogie strikes me as a decent, quality catch who is just cursed with shite luck. It totally happens, nothing you really can do except roll with the punches. And intelligence is vastly underrated in women, lots of guys I know could care less about it instead concentrating almost exclusively on looks and swagger. That's the uber-materialistic LI for ya, tho. ive been doing some serious thinking about dropping out of college lately, even though im doing good in all my classes for the first time in a long time, since last summer when i talked to a friends friend at a campfire for three hour who is a marine about the military ive been thinking about it, right now im interested in going into the army, swat, coast guard (i could work in chicago which is a +), or doing professional security work (no not a "security guard")

Depends.  If you're taking a fluff major like Sociology, you won't be doing much better than you would if you were just a high school graduate.  At any rate, people saying you're going to die in the military is dumb.  I've had friends and family who turned their lives around thanks to enlisting in the service.  Better than being some dumbass data entry monkey in a cube farm anyway.

As for Boogie, I haven't met him so it would be next to impossible to figure out why he isn't fending off ladies with a stick.  On a superficial level, he seems good: well paying job, intelligent, physically fit (aka ), and seems to have a good head on his shoulders.  I just don't know the whole story, not like I'm implying he has something he's holding back from us, but we don't know unless we're out there in his native Canadian environment with him.

As for you saying you know girls who went for assholes from the very beginning…Well I honestly don't personally know any girls who do, except in secondary school when we were like 14. I really think that whole 'girls are into assholes' is a dumb stereotype probably stemming from middle school bad-boy complex that most normal girls grow out of by the age of 16.

And that chick you described might be nice, but she is just fucking distinguished mentally-challenged or highly delusional, and that's a unique case, I don't see that kind of thing regularly at all, where a guy calls a girl a bitch, cheats on her and demeans her and she stays.
