Buying my first full priced game on steam in years, Goat Simulator for $9.99 because gf wants to play it together tonight, stomach is grinding.  Steam sales or bust has been integrated into my veins >:(

I've had to stop myself from buying Goat Simulator so many times. I can't wait for it to go on sale.

It is pretty good, yes. Especially if you like cyberpunk and especially if you like the Shadowrun universe. Dead Man's Switch [the original campaign] is okay but not particularly great, the DLC campaign [Dragonfall] is quite a bit better all around.

Crimzon Clover: World Ignition was just announced for Steam. Looks like it's going to be a port of the arcade version with some new features. No release date yet as far as I know, but awesome news nonetheless.

Bebpo: Shadowrun Returns sucks. It's a slightly below average strategy rpg with the interactivity and open-endedness of an rpg on rails. It's a scaled down srpg that was made for mobile in mind which doesn't translate well to pc game environment. If you're going to play it, play it on mobile.

Just wanna say that Steam is starting to fast  become my main gaming platform.

I can now play practically my entire top 5 games - barring Shenmue 1 and 2 on Steam. Jet Set Radio, Resident Evil 4, Final Fantasy VIII are all on Steam. Do you know what that feels like?! It feels GOOD. More than that, Dynasty Warriors 8XLCE, the latest game in my gaming comfort food in the Warriors series, is now on Steam. Even BETTER. Warriors titles, SMT spin offs and other Atlus titles, and Final Fantasy XV are the only thing keeping me from dumping consoles completely except for the occasional Japanese game. ONE MORE STEP FOR FREEDOM. And then something like DreadOut comes out and it looks like it made just for me? :lawd Thank you based Gabe!

Yo, this looks cool and it's on sale: Retro Game Crunch

It appears inspired by the awesome Retro Game Challenge DS game (Game Center CX) but it's missing a wrapper connecting all the games. For me half the fun of Retro Game Challenge was completing challenges and indulging in the heavy retro nostalgia such as reading in-game magazines and discovering codes.

yeah any of the MadCatz TE fightsticks for 360 are natively supported on PC. Have at it http://store.madcatz.com/categories/fightsticks-category/ and you could always hit up eBay for second-hand units to save a few bucks.

there are probably cheaper ones out there, but these use real Japanese parts, are easily moddable, and are just about as durable as home arcade sticks get.

It's not that similar to Garegga. I'd say the main inspiration comes from Soukyugurentai/Terra Diver (for the lock shot) and Cave in general (eg. hypers from Dodonpachi, difficulty selection from Mushihimesama, the multiplier & timer from Ketsui, etc). The guy who created the game spent five years working on the original and he also happens to be one of the best players of all time, so it's about as polished and well designed as a doujin game could ever hope to be imo.
