it really is.  AND he's missed quite a bit of his free throws.  He could be over 30 points right now if he made them.

edit: strike that, he actually made most of them.  But still, yeah, he's playing amazing.

oh my god NBA-gaf is just humiliating right now.  It's one thing to say the refs were awful; they were indeed.  But most of them are even saying Lebron didn't even play well and only made like two good shots.

Get the fuck out of here.

Crushing.

Although this doesn't say much beyond this game. Miami is capable of doing this to a team like the Knicks.

Chalmers annoys the fuck out of me when he tosses the ball to Joel Anthony like he expects him to do something with it. If you pass the ball to Joel expect it right back. That's the correct move for Joel to make.

If you watch the heat a lot like I do, you see it so often it pisses you off when Chalmers does it.

Unfortunate. I really did think this was the Bulls year. They looked so good. It's now Miami's for the taking at least coming out of the east.

Oh awesome-o...

Quote
Assume for a minute that everything that Sac fans said about 2002 Lakers/Kings Game 6 was completely true. I don't think there was anything wrong with that officiating, but let's allow it for the sake of argument.

Also assume for a minute that every conspiracy theorist was right about that game. Stern made the calls to the refs.

This Heat/Knicks game would still be a completely different level of corruption than that game.

This game is the most corrupt fucking thing that's existed in the world since Silvio Berlusconi abdicated.

Regardless of how awful the refs were in this game (they absolutely were), the Knicks committed 27 turnovers.  Maybe 3 of those were questionable charge calls.  They were going to be spanked regardless.

Dallas is such a well coached fundamental team. No matter how much of a downgrade they are this year, they just don't fucking quit and they do all the little things right.

You don't know how much I appreciate that since I watch a lot of heat basketball and don't generally get to see those qualities.

With hindsight, Rose was going to suffer that injury at some point in the playoffs anyway. Thibs did nothing wrong.

I really want the Mavs to win this series and then suddenly tear through the rest of the Western Conference to make another appearance at the Finals, but I just don't believe they could do that even with a series win against the Thunder.

On the other hand, I really want to Thunder to make it to the Finals and see what they can do, because I really think they've got a shot at winning it all.

So, lots of internal conflict here.

Utah Jazz ‏ @utahjazz
Josh Howard is starting

Not like the Jazz were going to win the series anyway, but they're only making things tougher on themselves by starting a black hole who hasn't had a TS% over 50% since 2008-09.

OMG he's already 32. When did that happen. Tracy McGrady is only 32 for fuck's sake.

The more I think about it, the other team that really benefits from Rose going down is the Celtics. There is no way they could have beat the Bulls before the injury. And now they potentially can. And I think they match up decently with the heat if Ray Allen can get healthier.

Lakers looked good although I think that has more to do with the Nuggets not being very good. I was impressed with the Spurs. Their offense was really efficient. They took almost no bad shots in their game.

Just watched the 4th quarter. The Grizz just stopped executing down the stretch. Zach Randolph had an awful game.
