Kevin Martin also about to become available for somebody.

Also Curry continues to just be nuts.

34 minutes.
51 points
FG: 20/27
3pt FG: 10/15
8 assists
7 assists

Still carrying the highest PER ever for a single season at 32.32

My brother was at this game so I'm sure he'll give me lowdown on what that was like.

Watch your mouth boy, the Big O is a fucking legend. Don't ever mention him with Stephen fucking Jackson again, the fuck it the matter with you?

And he's 100% correct. Basketball is devolving into 3 and Dunk shit I use to play with my friends when we were kids. It's getting boring and sorry but Curry won't ever be the GOAT until he learns down to at LEAST get into a defensive stance once a game.

And goddamn if I don't sound like Walrus but I can't wait for the Spurs to put them out in the conference finals so we can stop jacking off about them.

It takes a great team to always bring out the bitter ex-jocks to tell you how much better it was in their day.

Best part is the OKC bench doesn't look surprised at all.  Kanter had started shrugging in defeat while the ball was still in the air.

Crazy thing is the Spurs could still beat them, cause they're both all-world teams.  The league is super top-heavy this year.

San Antonio lost by 30 in Oracle a month ago, albeit w/o Duncan. If you just look at the head to head matchups thus far, Oklahoma City is the only team in the West that's consistently competed with Golden State: they lost a close game in Oracle 3 weeks ago and should have beat them last night until fuckery ensued. They get the Thunder on Thursday and are @ the Sperms on the 19th, so we'll know more after a few weeks, but as of right now if anyone is beating Golden State in 7 it's OKC.

e: However, I wouldn't trust OKC to beat SAS to get the chance to play GS in the WCF

i can't see OKC beating GSW unless they start to run an offense with some real movement. all of their action only gets easier to figure out as a series trudges on where as GSW grows into a series with that freeflowing offense. i'm not too familiar with how good Donovan is at IDing and making the necessary adjustments in a game so he's a complete wildcard.

that "my turn your turn" offense they run just isn't championship ball even though it gets them right up to the cusp. i really wish they'd been able to work things out with Harden instead of trading him.

GSW would beat them in 5 i think.

GSW will run SAS in 6. Between SAS and OKC H2H I think GSW is better but vs the Warriors I like the Spurs lineup, scheme and experience more to give GSW a better push.

any of the 3 would give the Cavs the pipe so it's all good :success

Silver might have to adopt some "Curry Rules" if shit gets too out of hand for the rest of the league.  :doge

It's hard to see anybody beating the warriors but sports history tells us anything can happen I suppose.

The Spurs are interesting in that they are a different version of the recent spurs. They still pass the ball well and have great defense.

But with Aldride their offense takes far less 3's than in recent history.

They are 25th in 3 pointers attempted per game. Which bucks the recent trends in basketball.

I can't even see the Spurs getting it done, Leonard can only guard one guy at a time unfortunately.

Jeff Green snags an extra $250,000 if his team wins at least 54 games. The Grizz weren't going to sniff that number, but Green's new team in the Clippers is on pace for exactly 54 wins -- and already stands far above the tax line. Having Green's bonus kick in would cost the Clips an extra $625,000 on top of Green's check, and the damage gets worse if L.A. ratchets up to 56 wins ($450,000 bonus) or even 58 ($700,000).
