oh man i felt so bad for Bobcats fans. not getting #1 set their franchise back to this day.
I agree, not landing unibrow must've been a huge letdown.

The New York Knicks have emerged as strong favorites to sign free-agent big man Joakim Noah, according to league sources.

Sources told ESPN.com that multiple teams interested in Noah have all but conceded already that the Knicks are his runaway preferred destination in free agency.

There's a TON of cap space, a weak FA class, and short contracts.

Players are going to get paid and people are going to freak out about it.

I just saw Woj tweet that the Lakers are looking to give Mozgov 4/$65M and now I'm freaking out.

Mozgov at 4/64.

This is the stupidest deal in NBA history. The guy put up just over 6 and 4.

Sure, but if the past two years are anything to go by, this means that the Lakers will now make it to the finals and lose, which has to be counted as a wildly improbable improvement.

Aren't you thankful?

I think Dwight is worth 30 million if that is what Mozgov is worth.

What is Biyombo gonna get considering he's much more valuable than Mozgov.

Need a new city and new growth as a man.... so choose the most loaded team and easiest road possible???? A place where you can be passive and exist as the second or even third dog? A place where others have built all the foundation and you can come in in the 11th hour and try to squeak out a ring or two? Sorry, KD. You became a man of the times today... and we all thought you were something different. Mostly because you said yourself, for 8 years, that you were something different. But, you're not. Oh, you're a great guy. A good man. One to be considered a roll model for sure. But this decision reveals much as well. Enjoy hollow championships. Around here, we still like to earn things, no matter how long it takes or how much we have to commit to seeing things through.

Kinda funny how the max salary contracts actually help create these super teams a little bit. By suppressing what the top players can earn you create these situations where a true superstar is actually the most reasonable contract you can pay.

The warriors were of course uniquely setup to capitalize on this situation because Curry is so under-paid based on his contract scale.
