Yeah, its kinda hard to see him surviving there. I mean he is what he is. I don't blame him. I just think he was a good player on a really bad team in Minnesota. Not the ultimate superstar people thought he was.

I just think he couldn't assimilate like Bosh did, neither in the team culture nor the offense.

GM Bron needs to take a step back and let somebody else decide the roster.

Bosh was a legit good defender for his size. Love is a trainwreck on defense.

On offense he is "fine" I guess but in this system he looks so tentative at times, its sad. I mean I get it must be difficult to get your offense when you have two ball dominant players like Lebron and Kyrie but even just straight up shooting the ball he looks tentative compared to say Channing Fyre.

He's a spot of shooter on a team of spot of shooters. We need to either put Lebron at the 4 as the next evolution in his career (preferred), or go find a Paul Milsap clone who can rebound and guard 4's and 5's.

Gasol and Butler want out of Chicago.

Love for Butler seems doable, right? They will need offense at the 4, we need defense and scoring at the 2.

I don't get hate on "GM" LeBron. Are people still mad that they traded Bennett, Wiggins and a trade exception for Love? I not a fan and haven't followed Cavs that closely during the reg season. But every game i watched they seemed on point, esp. later in the season.

Tbh I would've preferred to see them keep Wiggins, but I don't see taking Love as a mistake either. In theory it was a great move right? Win now, that was the plan, seemed like their best option to 'win now'. Cavs wouldn't be shit without Bron, and he's taken them to the finals two years running now. I loved that messy 2015 finals series too, Bron putting the team on his back.

I think the idea is "LeBron can't blame his teammates because he picked them" but it's more of a way for people who already didn't like him to talk shit, than as an actual critique of the moves they've made.

I've never heard him blame his teammates, he seems to be introspective about the Cavaliers failures almost to a fault.

I'm a lifelong Cavs fan.

I reject this notion.

Lebron formed this Voltron. Win or lose this on is on him.

Also Google Lebron Love diss. Go ahead.

More so than the gm moves, I think these Cleveland years they just ran into historically good Warriors team. This isn't like the prior Cleveland run where the team is shit. They just happened to be around at the perfectly wrong time.

Some of the moves have been good and some have been bad but that's the same as any team.

I suppose the theory is that GM Lebron went all in on another "super star" who some people don't feel is worthy of super star status instead of holding on to the kids (and no one thought Wiggins would be good for awhile) or spreading the resources on building a deeper team ala the Spurs or Warriors.

Of course you have to ask who could they have really gotten instead of Love. I mean look at the shit pile GM Doc assembled!

Love fucked up a switch IIRC and Lebron lambasted him for it.  Lebron has done this with Bosh, Chalmers, Allen, and Kyrie so many times.  Did any of those other players get tossed because Lebron yelled at them?

If Love is gone this off season it will be because of financial reasons and because he doesn't match up well with the teams that pose a threat to Cleveland (Golden State, Toronto, Portland, Boston).  If this Finals was against OKC, Love would be utilized much more effectively because of match ups.

Sports can be fun to watch but the best part is seeing a fans team lose. Especially since no one cared about the Warriors until a couple years ago. It's a private company that's achieved mid-2000s Apple status.

If LeBron actually delivers a title to Cleveland, he can leave again and it wouldn't be the same reaction as before, right?

Because you know what would be guaranteed to kill Walrus? A historic Cavs comeback down 3-1, then LeBron swooping in to save the Lakers from failure next season.

Lebron has obviously been great and he is the reason the cavs have been able to hang in this series but I have increased my respect for Lue. Mainly on the aspect that if you aren't playing well, your ass will sit down instead of being trotted out again and again in hopes that something will magically change.

I don't want to pretend like the Cavs are an amazingly deep team, but the one difference from this year and the last is the amount and quality of guys that they can bring in and provide some help.

I think a big factor in the animosity with Lebron was the way his last season ended (choking to a shitty Magic team) and that his move was premeditated all along, yet made everyone go through 'the show' he put on.

Lebron's never gotten the (full) credit he deserves because his game isn't as aesthetically pleasing to watch as most of the all-time greats. Even a lot of guys a tier below him are more fun to watch play the game.

This is so true.

Last night was pure power Lebron. Never seen that on that level before.

Let's also note the game is so easy to him that he makes the difficult look ordinary. That also takes away from his aesthetics.
