I also like how "people die from what rowling says on twitter"
can we follow this line through and see how it happens?
rowling says "women need to feel comfortable and safe in their support groups," a random support group takes this under advisement and decides to ban trans people from it, no trans people were even interested in going before, but one trans person who lives the next town over hears about this and feels a little sadder than usual, causing them to lash out at others irrationally in their workplace, causing them to get fired, denying them the money they need to live and buy HRT, and a few years later they die from a disease gained by using an infected needle because they couldn't afford the good stuff
so can we discuss how everyone is responsible for the deaths of hundreds or thousands, because they refused to shop at some store and it had to close down and the employees were fired and spiraled into homelessness and death?
or they said something that lowered the level of intelligent discourse online, causing a normally-better-adjusted person to become depressed and disillusioned with the state of humanity, and because they have no self control they kill themselves, which is definitely not their own fault but the random internet commenter?
making everyone no better or worse than rowling?
