Have you tried clearing the area of smaller fish (scare them away) to spawn a big shadow?

Why the fuck can't I store turnips in my home storage?? Also, they need to add a way to craft within your home and have it draw resources from the storage.

On a side note: Able Sisters shop opens tomorrow! Woot!

I know, what I mean is I shouldn't have to put the necessary materials in my pockets if I am crafting within my home. It should draw from home storage.

I agree.

Finished building three houses. Almost to town hall and then I can stop time traveling. Time traveling makes this so much more fun though. Hopefully it picks up after you build the camp site.

Can’t build on here because of this lil divot of land

Nor here because it isn’t wide enough

So I guess I better work on my star rating

Yeah just says it isn’t wide enough, I built it diagonally on the other fork. Will just widen the other side when I can

ETA: I can technically make the whole island accessible without one in either of those places, but it would break the loop. Guess I’ll have to build more inclines than I wanted to if I can’t get that star rating up in time, I’ll just save it for last. 2 star today.

Why'd they downgrade the UI for background/flooring at Nook's? You used to be able to get a preview of what it'll look like. Now I have to buy it and assume it works out

Yeah and no way to buy multiple things at the same time is still a curious omission.

Maybe if/when Nook's is upgraded it'll let you preview wallpaper/flooring? IIRC it wasn't until T&T Emporium you could preview things, but can't remember if it was the final upgrade or one of the earlier ones..

I kind of boned myself with my island layout. I picked the one I thought was most "interesting" and "unique" and had "character" without really thinking about any actual island planning considerations. Gonna need a shit to.n of bridges and ramps to make it work. Oh well

Yeah I mean besides that. In the past I'd shake every tree during my daily routine for furniture drops. I don't do it anymore. Too anal with too many trees. It is a good way of making sure a tree doesn't have wasps though.

Ah I meant, did Isabelle comment that you need more ramps and bridges? She only told me we need more fences and villagers.

I checked off the fence requirement today (SHE LOOKED SO HAPPY) and sold four additional plots of land. Rocco is moving in tomorrow, which hopefully means one more each day until Saturday... hopefully with max villagers (10) and good amount of fences/decorations, I'll be able to hit 3/4 star and get KK before he has to perform Saturday. (Not sure what his minimum star requirement is.)

After I caught spider and bagworm I don't really shake trees anymore except for branches.

Back when I'd do the whole island I'd probably get ~2 pieces of furniture a day

Yeah shaking trees isn't part of my daily or Mystery Isle routines anymore. Too tedious for little gain.

That furniture-in-trees requirement is one I'm fine slow-rolling. :P

Though shaking might be less tedious now that I've divided up my tree types and culled all my island's excess trees...

Welcome to the isle of Cerveza.

Let's do a quick tour.

In the south we have Nook's Cranny located on the foamy beaches of Cerveza. Be careful not to slip!

In Cerveza we pride our on our beach facilities. In the future we will have rows of pool chairs and and Able Sisters store located on our beach!

When you think of Cerveza, you think of relaxation.

Located in the center of the island is a unique small isle within an isle which bears fruit from across the world. Try to not pick them all! Here, you can fish fresh water fish to your hearts content while surrounded by the beauty of nature.

At Cerveza we are open to all kinds of people: capitalists, communists, and everything in between. Straight, gay, trans, cats, oil lathering muscle head dogs...

But the real prize...

That's right, amigos. Remember us when you think...CERVEZA.

Not sure if it's every time Celeste appears, but the first time I met her and she told me about the wand, later in the night there were random shooting stars and I pressed "A" for them. Then the star fragments were on the beach the next day.

Am very slowly taking my time with this game.  Enjoying playing it in short bursts.  Just went out to another island for the first time last night, got some coconuts and got another villager to move onto the island.

I think I have everyone added?  Cindi is missing- thought she was added already.

Well now I gotta show off my WIP island...

Welcome to Raclette!

I'm pretty happy with my layout, it was a pain at first but once I got some bridges and inclines it was great.

Raclette city hall with the official Raclette city flag.

In front of my newly renovated house.

An older pic of me and my bud Canberra.

Pan pizza restaurant

Enjoying the butterfly pavilion

The just opened Able Sisters shop! (with Canberra predictably lurking in the background)

A random retro style SMB mushroom hoodie if anyone wants

I love this game!!!
